Sans compter que les comportements ne sont pas forc\u00e9ment homog\u00e8nes dans une classe d&rsquo;\u00e2ge &#8211; image produite par Midjourney.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ce billet jette un coup de projecteur sur un aspect int\u00e9ressant, et \u00e0 mon avis fondamental du sujet, qui est la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de faire travailler les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations entre elles. Ceci est la rediffusion d&rsquo;un billet qu&rsquo;il me semble important de remettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;ordre du jour r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement.<\/p>\n<p>Un jour, j&rsquo;entendais quelqu&rsquo;un me lancer, pourtant \u00e0 peine plus jeune que moi, en substance : \u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 votre \u00e2ge, vous devriez \u00eatre en retraite !\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Pourtant les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/les-decodeurs\/article\/2023\/01\/19\/reforme-des-retraites-les-questions-pour-comprendre-ses-contours-et-ses-enjeux_6156886_4355772.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">injonctions de travailler plus longtemps<\/a> se font toujours plus pressantes. Surtout, les plus exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s et les entrepreneurs sont logiquement en attente de pouvoir exercer leur talent plus longuement.<\/p>\n<p>Il est donc plus temps que jamais de rappeler que la connaissance, le savoir, la comp\u00e9tence et la vision ne sont l&rsquo;apanage d&rsquo;une classe, d&rsquo;une ethnie, ni m\u00eame d&rsquo;une classe d&rsquo;\u00e2ge. Chaque point de vue avec son recul et son contexte culturel et humain est un apport de richesse et de r\u00e9flexion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Apprendre aux jeunes qui apprennent aux vieux, etc.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>De temps imm\u00e9moriaux, les plus \u00e2g\u00e9s ont appris aux plus jeunes qui ont appris aussi des choses aux plus vieux qui ont appris aux plus jeunes et ainsi de suite (\u00e0 moins que ce soit l&rsquo;inverse). Et ma boule de cristal me dit que cela ne changera pas malgr\u00e9 les tentatives de mercantilisation des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations qui tendent \u00e0 les enfoncer dans des caricatures.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Consumo ergo sum ? Toutes les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations sont la cible de ces st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes. Ces termes de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration alpha, Z, Y ou X sont autant de tentatives de mettre des gens dans des cases pour mieux les enfermer dans ces pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s. Et je ne parle pas des \u201cOK boomers\u201d ou des \u201cseniors\u201d. Ces euph\u00e9mismes sont une mani\u00e8re de dire \u201cvieux\u201d sans trop choquer. Cela revient \u00e0 discriminer en \u00e9vitant les reproches.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Derri\u00e8re la r\u00e9flexion apparemment anodine et \u00e9vidente qui consiste \u00e0 dire que travailler ensemble vaut mieux que travailler les uns contre les autres, et au-del\u00e0 de l&rsquo;apparente simplicit\u00e9 du point de vue de l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, se pose en fait une v\u00e9ritable question. Les voici traduits en fran\u00e7ais :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Les employ\u00e9s se jugent de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9guli\u00e8re en se basant uniquement sur leur \u00e2ge ;<\/li>\n<li>Les \u00e9quipes m\u00e9tier g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnelles \u00e9prouvent des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 mener leurs projets \u00e0 bien ;<\/li>\n<li>Vieux et jeunes employ\u00e9s sont en concurrence pour l&rsquo;attribution des ressources ;<\/li>\n<li>Les employ\u00e9s se plaignent quotidiennement aupr\u00e8s des membres d&rsquo;autres g\u00e9n\u00e9rations ;<\/li>\n<li>L&rsquo;entreprise recrute syst\u00e9matiquement au sein d\u2019une seule ou d\u2019un nombre limit\u00e9 de g\u00e9n\u00e9rations ;<\/li>\n<li>Les employ\u00e9s refusent quotidiennement les id\u00e9es venant d&rsquo;autres employ\u00e9s, plus jeunes ou plus vieux ;<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #666666;\">Les managers pensent qu&rsquo;il faut une formation particuli\u00e8re pour mener les autres g\u00e9n\u00e9rations dans leur travail ;<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Les gens font des commentaires ou des hypoth\u00e8ses \u00e0 propos d&rsquo;individus en se basant sur leur \u00e2ge ;<\/li>\n<li>Les managers posent l&rsquo;hypoth\u00e8se que les employ\u00e9s plus jeunes ou plus vieux sont incapables de r\u00e9aliser certaines t\u00e2ches ;<\/li>\n<li>Les membres de certaines g\u00e9n\u00e9rations sont quotidiennement \u00e9vacu\u00e9s des vagues de promotion ;<\/li>\n<li>Les employ\u00e9s plus \u00e2g\u00e9s font souvent valoir leurs droits \u00e0 la retraite plut\u00f4t ;<\/li>\n<li>Les employ\u00e9s plus jeunes semblent se d\u00e9sinvestir ou se d\u00e9sint\u00e9resser de leur travail<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/age-based-stereotypes.pdf\">&gt; lire le document de <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/ag-age-based-stereotypes.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Achieveglobal<\/a> sur les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de <\/span>l&rsquo;\u00e2gisme<span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/age-based-stereotypes.pdf\"> dans son ensemble ici<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>On pourrait commenter chacun de ces points, m\u00eame s&rsquo;ils paraissent assez faciles d&rsquo;acc\u00e8s. Ce qui est certain c\u2019est que l&rsquo;on voit difficilement comment r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me au travers d&rsquo;une loi ou d\u2019un d\u00e9cret. Pire encore, les politiques de quotas, qui semblent \u00eatre l&rsquo;unique r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la discrimination dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui\u2026 tout en cr\u00e9ant ainsi, une autre forme de discrimination, dite \u201cpositive\u201d.<\/p>\n<div>On peut cependant voir cette liste de contr\u00f4le, comme autant de points de vigilance qui permettent, et dans ce cas <strong>il revient \u00e0 chaque employ\u00e9 <\/strong>de souligner et de d\u00e9noncer ces attitudes et comportements d\u00e9viants.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>J&rsquo;ai particuli\u00e8rement soulign\u00e9 le num\u00e9ro 7 qui m&rsquo;est apparu de nombreuses fois dans les entreprises, o\u00f9 sous l&rsquo;apparence d&rsquo;un d\u00e9sir de formation et d&rsquo;\u0153cum\u00e9nisme interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel, pointent sourdement l\u2019\u00e2gisme et la crainte de l\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Quoi ? M\u2019apprendre \u00e0 \u201ccomprendre\u201d les jeunes ? Ne parlent-ils pas ma langue ? N\u2019assistent-ils pas \u00e0 mes cours ? Ne pouvons-nous nous respecter ? Ne sont-ils plus des \u00eatres humains, ou sont-ils devenus des mutants ? Cette hypoth\u00e8se d\u2019incompr\u00e9hension interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnelle est tout bonnement insupportable.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Alors que faire ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uGUNXzs8N8Q?start=130&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Je pense que ce que d\u00e9montre le travail aussi bien du professeur Twenge que de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Achieveglobal, c&rsquo;est que <strong>notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 est profond\u00e9ment dysfonctionnelle<\/strong>. Car un monde o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on oppose les diff\u00e9rents membres de sa congr\u00e9gation est un lieu o\u00f9 les enfants n\u2019aiment plus, leurs parents, et leurs parents n&rsquo;aiment plus leurs enfants.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est la n\u00e9gation de la base m\u00eame de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Attention ! Ma vision n&rsquo;est pas pessimiste au point de croire que nous sommes perdus, je n\u2019y crois pas une seconde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mais il faut \u00eatre vigilant, car la multiplication de ces st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes \u00e0 l&rsquo;envi, jusqu&rsquo;au point de les \u00e9riger en dogme, voire en outil d&rsquo;\u00e9ducation est un danger non n\u00e9gligeable.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alors pour rem\u00e8de \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2gisme, les recommandations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de conseil en \u00e9ducation sont les suivantes. Elles me paraissent p\u00e9tries de bon sens :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>refusez les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes et combattez-les ;<\/li>\n<li>trouvez un terrain d&rsquo;entente (entre g\u00e9n\u00e9rations) ;<\/li>\n<li>recherchez le talent en chacun ;<\/li>\n<li>favorisez la mixit\u00e9 ;<\/li>\n<li>soyez positifs et exigeants.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Et partagez les valeurs communes propres \u00e0 toutes les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations qui sont le respect, la comp\u00e9tence, le lien et l\u2019autonomie.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p><strong>G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y : le Web 2.0 de 7 \u00e0 77 ans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mon r\u00e9cent billet \u201cinterg\u00e9n\u00e9ration, apprentissage &amp; num\u00e9rique : le tierc\u00e9 gagnant\u201d a fait l\u2019objet de quelques commentaires unanimes pour dire (je r\u00e9sume) que la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y n\u2019est rien de plus qu\u2019un concept marketing fumeux pour lequel, notamment, la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser les outils informatiques et num\u00e9riques n\u2019a rien \u00e0 voir avec l\u2019\u00e2ge des utilisateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Par contre, pour ce qui est de l\u2019acceptation \u00e0 ex\u00e9cuter des ordres le petit doigt sur la couture du pantalon\u2026 c\u2019est une autre affaire qui n\u2019est pas limit\u00e9e au moins de 30 ans\u2026<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019acceptation des ordres sans comprendre n\u2019est pas le propre de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y.<\/p>\n<p>Si je me base sur la r\u00e9cente remarque d\u2019un de mes clients, je ne peux que le confirmer.<\/p>\n<p>Voici son histoire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Source : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.efficacitic.fr\/2013\/05\/14\/generation-y-le-web-2-0-de-7-a-77-ans\/\">g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y : le Web 2.0 de 7 \u00e0 77 ans | EfficaciTIC<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&rsquo;\u00e2gisme, ou le pr\u00e9jug\u00e9 li\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge est un fl\u00e9au de nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s.
