Ce nouveau syst\u00e8me se base sur son IA maison, les mod\u00e8les Gemini. Avec AI Overviews, Google m\u00e9lange plusieurs sources pour apporter un v\u00e9ritable condens\u00e9. Pour moi, c&rsquo;est un r\u00e9sultat bien plus riche.<\/p>\n<h3>En quoi ces r\u00e9sultats AI Overviews diff\u00e8rent-ils des r\u00e9sultats de recherche traditionnels\u00a0?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>RD. <\/strong>: Dans ce nouveau bloc, Google AI Overviews va afficher ses sources de mani\u00e8re plus synth\u00e9tique. Le r\u00e9sultat SEO traditionnel, j&rsquo;insiste sur cette \u00e9pith\u00e8te, proposait 10 liens de sites Internet sur la premi\u00e8re page. Et l&rsquo;internaute pouvait choisir o\u00f9 il allait cliquer. La grosse diff\u00e9rence est l\u00e0. Avec AI Overviews, Google fait en sorte de r\u00e9pondre directement \u00e0 la question et va garder son internaute sur son moteur de recherche, sur ses pages. Le r\u00e9sultat, c\u2019est donc moins de trafic pour les sites de contenu et d\u2019information.<\/p>\n<h3>Quels types de requ\u00eates d\u00e9clenchent le plus souvent les AI Overviews\u00a0?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>RD.<\/strong> : Les requ\u00eates informatives, souvent ceux qui fournissaient des r\u00e9sultats en position z\u00e9ro. Ce sont des sites peu rentables pour Google. Ils sont bien pourvus en contenu, qu\u2019ils mon\u00e9tisent, mais n\u2019ont pas forc\u00e9ment de gros budgets d&rsquo;investissement publicitaire \u00e0 donner \u00e0 Google. Ainsi, Alphabet fera en sorte de conserver l&rsquo;internaute sur son site pour ces r\u00e9ponses. Mais au-del\u00e0 de \u00e7a, ce sont les LLM et notamment ChatGPT qui concurrencent le g\u00e9ant de Mountain View. Ce ne sera pas Facebook, ni Amazon, ni m\u00eame les autres moteurs de recherche. Ces LLM sont de v\u00e9ritables \u201cmod\u00e8les de r\u00e9ponses\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Cette nouvelle concurrence \u00e9tait-elle pr\u00e9visible\u00a0?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>RD.<\/strong> : Personnellement, je ne l\u2019avais pas vu venir. On savait que Google \u00e9tait archidominant avec environ 90 % de part de march\u00e9 (\u00e0 quelques variations pr\u00e8s selon les pays). \u00c0 tel point qu\u2019une instruction pour abus de position dominante <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.themedialeader.com\/pub-digitale-google-reconnu-coupable-dabus-de-position-dominante-aux-etats-unis\/\">est en cours aux USA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On a attendu la concurrence de la part de Bing, de Facebook\u2026 il y a eu l\u2019\u00e9mergence de ce que des experts de Google appellent un \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/safety\/go?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.noiise.com%2Fressources%2Fmarketing-digital%2Fle-messy-middle-connaitre-et-convaincre-le-consommateur%2F&amp;trk=flagship-messaging-web&amp;messageThreadUrn=urn%3Ali%3AmessagingThread%3A2-MTdhNTcwZDYtNjk1ZC00ZjkxLWFiYTQtODcwNDFkMGM1YTM3XzEwMA%3D%3D&amp;lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_messaging_conversation_detail%3BjYX0k8NOQuqsHG7O4%2BvUfg%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">messy middle<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb. Finalement, les internautes, pour certaines informations, se sont plut\u00f4t dirig\u00e9s vers les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. L&rsquo;internaute va donc naviguer sur plusieurs supports. Mais avec l&rsquo;apparition des LLM, ils peuvent recevoir directement la r\u00e9ponse sur leur smartphone. Une r\u00e9ponse, qui plus est, bien \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie*\u00a0\u00bb et qui aide vraiment l&rsquo;internaute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>*NDLR Rappelons ici que les LLM sont des outils statistiques<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>En somme, Google s\u2019est fait prendre \u00e0 son propre pi\u00e8ge et les LLM innovent plus vite\u00a0!<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>R.D.<\/strong> Il s\u2019agit bien d\u2019une course \u00e0 la rapidit\u00e9. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 c&rsquo;est int\u00e9ressant, c\u2019est que ce soit pour Visionary Marketing, pour les sites m\u00e9dias, mais \u00e9galement pour nous, en tant qu&rsquo;agence SEO, cela va ouvrir de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s. Car c\u2019est un nouveau support qui arrive.<\/p>\n<h3>La baisse des taux de clics est d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s forte, les producteurs de contenus vont donc souffrir\u00a0!<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Image d&rsquo;Ubersuggest<\/p>\n<p><strong>R.D.<\/strong> : Oui, ils vont souffrir\u00a0! Certes, on voit des baisses de CTR moyens (taux de clics ou click-through rates) aux USA, mais cela va \u00e9galement ouvrir de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais avant cela, nous avions d\u00e9j\u00e0 observ\u00e9 des baisses de taux de clic sur les requ\u00eates e-commerce transactionnelles. La part du r\u00e9f\u00e9rencement naturel en e-commerce \u00e9tant naturellement bien plus basse, car le SEA est majoritaire en ce secteur. Avec les r\u00e9sultats Google Shopping, on avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 un seul r\u00e9sultat SEO, parfois.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avec AI Overviews, effectivement, le SEO va d\u00e9cro\u00eetre encore davantage. Nous avons des confr\u00e8res italiens qui observent d\u00e9j\u00e0 cela chez eux. Les annonceurs vont d\u00e9couvrir cela pratiquement du jour au lendemain quand AI Overviews sera disponible en France. Ils perdront 30-40\u00a0% de leur trafic instantan\u00e9ment. Mais il s\u2019agit peut-\u00eatre d\u2019un trafic qui n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas toujours qualifi\u00e9, au sens qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y avait pas forc\u00e9ment une volont\u00e9 d&rsquo;aller acheter un produit ni montrer une intention d\u2019achat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ceux qui seront r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9s sur Google AI Overviews, les sites informatifs, les sites transactionnels, les sites de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de leads, vont ainsi d\u00e9couvrir une nouvelle source de trafic.<\/p>\n<h3>Comment optimiser son contenu pour appara\u00eetre dans AI Overviews et ne pas dispara\u00eetre\u00a0?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>R.D.<\/strong> : Ce qui compte, ce sont les discussions entre experts. Google AI Overviews va mettre de plus en plus l\u2019accent sur l\u2019EAT (Exp\u00e9rience, Autorit\u00e9, Fiabilit\u00e9 ou \u00ab Trust \u00bb). Google veut lutter contre la d\u00e9sinformation. Ils vont donc essayer d&rsquo;identifier les experts pour r\u00e9pondre, justement, dans les requ\u00eates sur lesquelles il y a une r\u00e9ponse AI Overviews.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour aller chercher du trafic, il va falloir \u00eatre un expert reconnu sur sa th\u00e9matique. C&rsquo;est quelque chose de tr\u00e8s important.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce que j\u2019aime avec l\u2019apparition des LLM et d\u2019Overviews, c&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;on sort de l\u2019optimisation SEO de \u00ab\u00a0geek\u00a0\u00bb. On n&rsquo;est plus dans la bidouille. Il y a vingt ans, on optimisait des mots-cl\u00e9s dans des pages, avec des contenus et des liens cach\u00e9s. Tout cela est r\u00e9volu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce qui va compter, c\u2019est le \u00ab\u00a0branding\u00a0\u00bb. Celui qui aura d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 sa marque sera celui qui est mis en avant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u2019est une bonne chose, car notre m\u00e9tier va gagner en maturit\u00e9. C&rsquo;est une tr\u00e8s bonne nouvelle, en fait, pour les professionnels du marketing. Ceux qui seront exemplaires sur ce levier seront les gagnants.<\/p>\n<h3>En conclusion de cette interview sur Google AI Overviews<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La disponibilit\u00e9 de ce nouvel outil n\u2019est pas encore connue, probablement repouss\u00e9e du fait de questions de conformit\u00e9 li\u00e9es au DMA. J\u2019imagine mal comment la France pourrait refuser l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 cet outil sur ces bases si l\u2019Italie l\u2019a d\u00e9j\u00e0 autoris\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En tous les cas, je partage l\u2019enthousiasme de Roland. Quand la route est bossel\u00e9e, les innovateurs savent qu\u2019il faut acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer et d\u00e9ployer plus d\u2019ing\u00e9niosit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Et il est certain que les LLM vont nous poser un d\u00e9fi, en tant que cr\u00e9ateurs de contenu, pour d\u00e9velopper nos visites et les mon\u00e9tiser. Ceux dont la marque sera suffisamment forte et qui auront d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 leur \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me et leur marque, au-del\u00e0 du SEO, seront les gagnants d\u2019un paysage o\u00f9 les concurrents les moins tenaces auront rendu l\u2019\u00e2me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quant \u00e0 savoir si Google Overviews sera \u00e0 la hauteur du d\u00e9fi pos\u00e9 par les LLM et en particulier par Perplexity, ChatGPT et Claude.ai. Il faudra pour cela que les r\u00e9sultats obtenus en t\u00eate de page soient \u00e0 la hauteur de ce que propose la concurrence et des nouvelles attentes des internautes. J\u2019ai quelques doutes quand je vois les copies d\u2019\u00e9crans qui ne ressemblent pas \u00e0 ce que Roland appelle \u00e0 juste titre un \u00ab\u00a0moteur de r\u00e9ponses\u00a0\u00bb.
