Tous les ans, lors du salon de la photo, une \u00e9tude est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l&rsquo;AFNUM (l\u2019Alliance fran\u00e7aise des industries du num\u00e9rique). Celle-ci permet de voir o\u00f9 en sont les usages de la photographie&#8230; et des innovations technologiques en ce domaine. Cette \u00e9tude, dans sa version 2024, d\u00e9montre des paradoxes int\u00e9ressants dans les usages des interview\u00e9s. Mais ce chiffre est \u00e0 nuancer au vu de certaines contradictions int\u00e9ressantes. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voici donc quelques enseignements tir\u00e9s de ce barom\u00e8tre photo 2024 (vague 9), r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Sociovision (groupe IFOP) pour le Salon de la Photo et l\u2019AFNUM. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un panel de 1 000 pratiquants de photo \u00e2g\u00e9s de 15 \u00e0 65 ans, interrog\u00e9s en ligne entre juin et juillet 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principaux enseignements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une passion toujours vivace<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>61\u00a0% des interview\u00e9s consid\u00e8rent la photo comme une passion (+3 pts vs 2023). Ici, on parle d\u2019une activit\u00e9 qui s\u2019ins\u00e8re dans tous les instants de la vie des interview\u00e9s (69\u00a0%). Les pratiques sont extr\u00eamement diverses et vont de la photo \u00e9motion \u00e0 la photo souvenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est incroyable, mais pas \u00e9tonnant, de constater l\u2019\u00e9norme vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019usages de ce passe-temps. Comme on le verra par la suite, le smartphone joue ici un r\u00f4le fondamental dans cette permanence des usages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est vrai que la qualit\u00e9 des appareils photo sur mobiles s\u2019est nettement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. \u00c0 tel point que la comparaison, dans certaines conditions, entre photo professionnelle et amateur ne m\u00e8ne plus \u00e0 une domination sans partage des appareils de tr\u00e8s haute qualit\u00e9. La diff\u00e9rence entre photo num\u00e9rique pro et num\u00e9rique mobile est de plus en plus t\u00e9nue. Je continue de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer mes appareils professionnels. Mais c\u2019est surtout pour leurs qualit\u00e9s pratiques, de prise de vue et les innombrables r\u00e9glages tr\u00e8s fins. Et bien entendu pour les cas o\u00f9 les conditions sont particuli\u00e8res. Les deux photos ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises en format RAW et trait\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re quasi identique dans Adobe Lightroom. \u00c0 noter quelques l\u00e9g\u00e8res diff\u00e9rences de colorim\u00e9trie non corrig\u00e9es. La seule variation notable reste la qualit\u00e9 du bokeh.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019essor irr\u00e9sistible de la vid\u00e9o<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les insights int\u00e9ressants pour les marketeurs, il faut noter que 30 % des r\u00e9pondants pratiquent la vid\u00e9o quotidiennement. Cela correspond \u00e0 une augmentation de 15 points par rapport \u00e0 2018. Un chiffre \u00e0 comparer aux 55% de la photo sur le m\u00eame \u00e9chantillon).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme le font remarquer les commanditaires de l\u2019\u00e9tude, les usages se rapprochent de la culture \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2010\/01\/26\/conseils-medias-sociaux\/\">vlogueur<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0. Cette pratique est incroyablement plus avanc\u00e9e qu\u2019il y a 12 ans. A l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, mener une op\u00e9ration de marketing UGC sur la vid\u00e9o \u00e9tait mission impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors directeur digital chez un grand op\u00e9rateur j\u2019avais lanc\u00e9 une telle op\u00e9 en esp\u00e9rant r\u00e9colter un grand nombre de vid\u00e9os. Je m\u2019\u00e9tais vite aper\u00e7u que l&rsquo;usage de cette technologie restait cantonn\u00e9 \u00e0 quelques vid\u00e9astes tr\u00e8s avanc\u00e9s. Bref, je n&rsquo;en ai pas cru mes yeux en d\u00e9couvrant les stats de la vid\u00e9o sur ce panel grand public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IA et photographie : l&rsquo;arme \u00e0 double tranchant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Point suivant sur lequel nous allons nous arr\u00eater dans cette br\u00e8ve, l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2023\/08\/18\/ia-generative-photographie\/\">intelligence artificielle<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si une majorit\u00e9 d\u2019utilisateurs (55%) accueille favorablement l\u2019IA comme aide pour la prise de vue, le tri ou la retouche), ils sont presque aussi nombreux (49 %) \u00e0 <strong>percevoir la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019images par IA comme une menace<\/strong>. Paradoxalement, les &nbsp;30-34 ans (70%) et les hommes (60%) sont encore plus hostiles \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019images par IA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On sent pointer la lassitude pointer vis-\u00e0-vi de ces images g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par l&rsquo;IA.<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2023\/11\/20\/ia-generatives-et-contenu\/\">Comme je l&rsquo;avais fait remarquer il y a quelque temps<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bidouiller avec l&rsquo;IA c&rsquo;est bien, fabriquer de la photographie c&rsquo;est mal ?!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>En d&rsquo;autres termes, bidouiller ses images avec l&rsquo;IA pour enlever des \u00e9l\u00e9ments ind\u00e9sirables est acceptable, mais pas produire des images \u00e0 partir de z\u00e9ro. Pourtant, en regardant celles qui ornent la pr\u00e9sentation de l&rsquo;AFNUM, il semblerait que l&rsquo;IA s&rsquo;y soit bien immisc\u00e9e. D&rsquo;ici \u00e0 en d\u00e9duire que cette pratique est largement r\u00e9pandue, mais qu&rsquo;elle est peu avouable, il n&rsquo;y a qu&rsquo;un pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un tiers des pratiquants se disent \u00e9galement int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par la photo prise par lunettes connect\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En plus des usages tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9s de la photographie, il est \u00e0 noter l\u2019incroyable vari\u00e9t\u00e9 des \u00e9quipements des utilisateurs. Toutefois, les appareils num\u00e9riques, dans leur diversit\u00e9, continuent d\u2019attirer les amateurs de photo. Pour cela, les utilisateurs n&rsquo;h\u00e9sitent plus \u00e0 recourir massivement \u00e0 l\u2019occasion et au reconditionn\u00e9 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>36 % ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 achet\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riel d\u2019occasion (+14 pts vs. 2017).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>38 % ont achet\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riel reconditionn\u00e9 (+2 pts vs. 2022).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Envie croissante de revendre son mat\u00e9riel (36 %).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce paysage largement domin\u00e9 par le num\u00e9rique, la nostalgie va cependant bon train, avec un nombre important de r\u00e9pondants qui semblent regretter la photographie argentique, pourtant bien polluante et aux multiples inconv\u00e9nients. Le pass\u00e9 en r\u00e9sum\u00e9 n\u2019a jamais eu autant d\u2019avenir. \u00c0 noter \u00e9galement que l\u2019impression photo est pris\u00e9e par une \u00e9crasante majorit\u00e9 des r\u00e9pondants (89%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote quote-light is-layout-flow wp-block-quote quote-light-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Il est vrai qu\u2019il n\u2019y a pas de plaisir plus grand pour un photographe que de contempler son travail sur papier, dont le rendu est souvent le juge de paix de la qualit\u00e9 de travail.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La nostalgie de l&rsquo;argentique &#8230; dans le cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dernier paradoxe et non des moindres, pour des nostalgiques de l\u2019argentique (56% des r\u00e9pondants), le cloud gagne en confiance (78% des r\u00e9pondants stockent leurs photos sur le cloud) et s\u2019impose pour l\u2019archivage des donn\u00e9es photographiques. Ce qui est logique tant il est d\u00e9licat de conserver ses images de mani\u00e8re s\u00fbre sur un disque sans risquer de tout perdre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela peut sans doute s&rsquo;expliquer par les nouvelles pratiques en vogue dans l&rsquo;argentique, avec ces utilisateurs qui num\u00e9risent leurs n\u00e9gatifs.
