Ce concept d\u2019innovation ouvert repose sur <strong>l\u2019id\u00e9e que les entreprises ne peuvent plus innover seules de mani\u00e8re efficace<\/strong>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019exigence de comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 leur commande de s&rsquo;ouvrir \u00e0 des collaborations et des sources externes, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de startups, centres de recherche, voire de partenaires issus d\u2019autres secteurs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce mod\u00e8le est un bon moyen de partager les risques, les comp\u00e9tences et les co\u00fbts pour r\u00e9pondre plus rapidement aux d\u00e9fis des march\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour explorer les d\u00e9fis et opportunit\u00e9s de ce mod\u00e8le, Maddyness a organis\u00e9 le 10\u00a0octobre 2024 un d\u00e9bat r\u00e9unissant trois experts\u00a0: Alix Boulnois, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale Business, Digital &amp; Tech chez Accor, Jean-Christophe Piti\u00e9, directeur marketing de ContentSquare, et Paul Jeannest, PDG de RaiseLab. Le groupe adopte une approche combinant partenariats et investissements. En particulier, elle passe des accords avec des startups qui ont int\u00e9gr\u00e9 le classement du French Tech Next 40\/120.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce mod\u00e8le va au-del\u00e0 des simples collaborations commerciales, int\u00e9grant aussi des engagements financiers \u00e0 travers des prises de participation.<\/p>\n<h4>Fullsoon\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0sur un malentendu, \u00e7a a march\u00e9\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L&rsquo;exemple de la startup Fullsoon illustre bien cette strat\u00e9gie. Ce projet, n\u00e9 au sein d&rsquo;Accor pendant la pand\u00e9mie, a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 sous la forme d\u2019une initiative interne port\u00e9e par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe Data Science et \u00ab\u00a0<em>sur un malentendu, \u00e7a a march\u00e9<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 Alix Boulnois.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son \u00e9quipe de data scientists a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un algorithme capable de pr\u00e9dire les besoins en stocks des restaurants en fonction de plusieurs variables. Connect\u00e9 aux syst\u00e8mes de caisse des restaurants, l\u2019algorithme analyse les historiques de commandes et croise ces donn\u00e9es avec des informations externes comme la m\u00e9t\u00e9o ou les \u00e9v\u00e9nements locaux. Cette combinaison permet aux restaurateurs d\u2019ajuster leurs commandes et de r\u00e9duire le gaspillage jusqu\u2019\u00e0 30\u00a0%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Le succ\u00e8s de cette innovation a pouss\u00e9 Accor \u00e0 investir dans Fullsoon. <\/strong>Depuis, Fullsoon est une startup en forte croissance qui a remport\u00e9 de nombreux prix et sign\u00e9 des contrats avec de grandes cha\u00eenes de restauration.<\/p>\n<h3>ContentSquare : Le product fit et la conformit\u00e9 comme cl\u00e9s de l&rsquo;innovation<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jean-Christophe Piti\u00e9, directeur du marketing et des partenariats chez ContentSquare, a mis l\u2019accent sur l\u2019importance du \u00ab product fit \u00bb (ad\u00e9quation de l\u2019offre \u00e0 la demande).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les petites entreprises savent adapter rapidement leurs produits en fonction du retour des clients, ce qui leur permet d\u2019innover plus vite et plus souplement que les grands groupes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u00ab Les startups, surtout dans le secteur technologique, peuvent obtenir beaucoup plus rapidement le feed-back du client, ce qui leur permet d\u2019ajuster la R&amp;D en temps r\u00e9el<\/em> \u00bb, a-t-il expliqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cependant, l\u2019environnement r\u00e9glementaire est de plus en plus strict, ce qui n\u2019est pas sans poser de probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ces enjeux li\u00e9s \u00e0 la conformit\u00e9 \u2013 RGPD, s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et respect des normes de <em>conformit\u00e9 <\/em>\u2013 font souvent figure d\u2019obstacle pour les startups. Ils sont per\u00e7us par elles comme des barri\u00e8res \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e. Celles qui parviennent \u00e0 surmonter ces d\u00e9fis deviennent souvent des partenaires de choix pour les grands groupes.<\/p>\n<h3>Open Innovation\u00a0: impact de la crise du COVID<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La crise du COVID-19 a profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 l\u2019industrie et la mani\u00e8re dont les entreprises abordent l&rsquo;Open Innovation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour Alix Boulnois, cette p\u00e9riode a \u00e9t\u00e9 un d\u00e9fi, mais aussi une opportunit\u00e9 de r\u00e9organiser les \u00e9quipes et les priorit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<em>M\u00eame en p\u00e9riode de crise, il est possible d\u2019innover et de transformer des difficult\u00e9s en opportunit\u00e9s<\/em>\u201d<br \/>\nAlix Boulnois<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alix Boulnois a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l\u2019Open Innovation repose en grande partie sur une culture d\u2019essais-erreurs. Sans oublier l\u2019indispensable humilit\u00e9 face \u00e0 ses propres limites : <em>\u00ab Il faut admettre qu\u2019on ne peut pas tout faire tout seul<\/em> \u00bb, a-t-elle rappel\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Structurer l&rsquo;innovation ouverte : l&rsquo;approche de RaiseLab<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paul Jeannest est fondateur et PDG de RaiseLab. Sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a pour mission d\u2019aider les grands groupes \u00e0 naviguer dans l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me en identifiant les bonnes startups et en structurant les collaborations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il distingue trois axes majeurs dans l\u2019innovation ouverte.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>D\u00e9finir une strat\u00e9gie claire\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Identifier les bons partenaires\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Et mettre en place un cadre de collaboration op\u00e9rationnel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RaiseLab aide les entreprises \u00e0 structurer cette collaboration pour qu\u2019elle soit efficace. Ceci permet \u00e0 toutes les parties prenantes \u2013d\u00e9partement M&amp;A, Corporate Venture Capital (CVC), ou \u00e9quipes d\u2019innovation \u2013 de travailler de mani\u00e8re coordonn\u00e9e en mettant de c\u00f4t\u00e9 leurs \u00e9gos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En effet, un des enjeux majeurs est de s&rsquo;assurer que toutes les options, internes ou externes, sont prises en compte de mani\u00e8re \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e et objective avant de choisir le bon \u00ab\u00a0v\u00e9hicule\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019innovation. L\u2019id\u00e9e est de maximiser l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 en tenant compte de tous les acteurs possibles.<\/p>\n<h3>L&rsquo;Open Innovation face \u00e0 ses d\u00e9fis<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les d\u00e9fis de l\u2019Open Innovation sont nombreux.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outre les obstacles li\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9glementation, l\u2019un des plus grands freins reste la difficult\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9grer des cultures d\u2019entreprise tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes. Il faut bien s\u00fbr s\u2019assurer que les \u00e9quipes des deux parties, grandes entreprises et startups, partagent la m\u00eame vision strat\u00e9gique et les m\u00eames valeurs.<\/p>\n<h4>Faire co\u00efncider les cultures<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0<em>Cela implique une adaptation r\u00e9ciproque\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb, analyse Bruno Cracco, Managing Partner et sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019Open Innovation chez Bengs. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Les \u00e9quipes de la grande entreprise doivent accepter une fa\u00e7on de penser qui peut sembler contre-intuitive, s\u2019autoriser \u00e0 prendre des raccourcis, et \u00e0 retrouver l\u2019esprit entrepreneur des origines. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>La startup doit de son c\u00f4t\u00e9 accepter de s\u2019ins\u00e9rer dans un cadre, penser au-del\u00e0 du seul produit pour anticiper la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019excellence op\u00e9rationnelle, indispensable pour passer rapidement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de son partenaire. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Les deux doivent faire \u00e9voluer leur syst\u00e8me de prise de d\u00e9cision, pour leur plus grand b\u00e9n\u00e9fice. Les enjeux sont de taille : une innovation plus radicale, plus rapide et plus libre pour la grande entreprise. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>En \u00e9change, la startup obtient un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des capacit\u00e9s inenvisageables autrement, une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de sa mont\u00e9e en maturit\u00e9 industrielle et un premier client d\u2019importance. Autant d\u2019atouts indispensables pour grandir rapidement et passer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les intervenants ont tous soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance du crit\u00e8re de \u00ab scalabilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb (mont\u00e9e en charge) des solutions d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es. Pour qu\u2019une solution soit adopt\u00e9e \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle par un grand groupe, elle doit non seulement r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 un besoin imm\u00e9diat, mais aussi \u00eatre capable de s\u2019adapter aux diff\u00e9rents march\u00e9s et r\u00e9glementations sur lesquels les grands groupes sont pr\u00e9sents.\u00bb<\/p>\n<h4>Les enjeux de durabilit\u00e9 et de r\u00e9glementation en Open Innovation<\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les panellistes ont enfin abord\u00e9 l&rsquo;importance croissante des enjeux de durabilit\u00e9 et de conformit\u00e9 dans les strat\u00e9gies d&rsquo;Open Innovation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paul Jeannest fait remarquer que les grandes entreprises ont accru leur volont\u00e9 de collaboration \u00e9troite avec des startups sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans ces domaines.
