Une conf\u00e9rence, faite de 15 \u00ab talks \u00bb de r\u00e9flexion sur le nouveau, le design et l\u2019innovation. Ceux-ci m&rsquo;ont grandement inspir\u00e9. Et cerise sur le g\u00e2teau, la pr\u00e9sentation de deux jeunes \u00e9tudiants en design a secou\u00e9 l\u2019auditoire tout en le faisant rire aux \u00e9clats. Apr\u00e8s ce compte-rendu, vous ne pourrez plus dire <i>que vous ne savez pas ce que c\u2019est de \u00ab faire du nouveau \u00bb avec du vieux ou du jeune, peu importe.<\/i> <!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Une ann\u00e9e difficile pour le design et l&rsquo;innovation<\/h3>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 difficile pour les agences de design, notamment avec la fin des Pr\u00eats Garantis par l&rsquo;\u00c9tat (PGE)\u00a0\u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sidente de l\u2019ADC. \u00ab\u00a0La grande consommation a \u00e9galement rencontr\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb a-t-elle ajout\u00e9, \u00ab\u00a0mais des projets int\u00e9ressants ont \u00e9merg\u00e9 et de nouvelles agences sont m\u00eame apparues sur le march\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adc-asso.com\/\">L\u2019ADC<\/a>, l\u2019association dont le but est de promouvoir le design fran\u00e7ais, ses m\u00e9tiers et ses agences, a initi\u00e9 les \u00ab\u00a0Talks\u00a0\u00bb pendant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 afin de maintenir le lien entre ses membres. La <b>nouveaut\u00e9 dans le design n\u2019est-elle pas de revenir au sens<\/b>\u00a0? Qu\u2019est-ce que je veux d\u00e9fendre ? Du nouveau pour du nouveau ? Non, il faut faire du nouveau pour faire du bien\u00a0!\u00bb.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Design et innovation : le nouveau est d\u00e9j\u00e0-vu !<\/h3>\n<p>Il est fascinant de voir des agences de design qui incluent ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments soci\u00e9taux dans leurs r\u00e9flexions. J\u2019aimerais qu\u2019ils aient \u00e9t\u00e9 davantage \u00e0 l\u2019origine de d\u00e9finitions (ou suppression) des emballages et suremballages des produits que j\u2019ach\u00e8te le samedi en faisant mes courses. J\u2019aurais besoin de descendre mes poubelles moins souvent. Bien dit !<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Les consommateurs sont blas\u00e9s<\/h3>\n<p>Les pr\u00e9sentateurs de <a href=\"https:\/\/carrebasset.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Carr\u00e9 Basset<\/b><\/a> ont ensuite remis en question la notion m\u00eame de nouveaut\u00e9, <b>appelant \u00e0 une cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 responsable et \u00e0 impact positif<\/b>. C\u2019est bien vu, les animaux, surtout les animaux domestiques, ont leurs habitudes auxquelles ils tiennent. Les humains, eux, ne se satisfont jamais du train train ni ne r\u00e9sistent au changement. C\u2019est <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2024\/10\/10\/conduite-du-changement\/\">bien connu<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Garamond, une nouvelle typo depuis le 16e si\u00e8cle<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/productiontype.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Production Type<\/b><\/a> a ensuite explor\u00e9 l&rsquo;innovation en typographie, rappelant l&rsquo;importance de l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritage dans la cr\u00e9ation (avec Le Garamond qui se r\u00e9invente sans cesse dans la continuit\u00e9 depuis sa cr\u00e9ation par le typographe du m\u00eame nom au seizi\u00e8me si\u00e8cle), alors que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sixiemeson.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Sixi\u00e8me Son<\/b><\/a> a propos\u00e9 une approche fort pertinente de la nouveaut\u00e9 par la r\u00e9interpr\u00e9tation du quotidien plut\u00f4t que par la recherche de radicalit\u00e9. Avec beaucoup d\u2019humour, ils ont repos\u00e9 la question ainsi : \u00ab <b>Faut-il \u00eatre nouveau pour faire du nouveau ?<\/b> \u00bb.\u00a0Question \u00e9minemment pertinente de ces deux \u00e9tudiants. Ceci \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 de nombreux professionnels se lamentent du jeunisme ambiant et de la discrimination sur l\u2019\u00e2ge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cette jeunesse m\u2019a redonn\u00e9 l\u2019espoir. Comme l\u2019a fait remarquer une des agences, il n\u2019y a pas que le \u00ab nouveau \u00bb dans le design. Ni m\u00eame la valeur d\u2019usage. Le respect de l\u2019environnement et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 se sont fait une place dans cette profession. Du moins dans les discours.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Et l\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative dans tout \u00e7a ? Si les pr\u00e9sentateurs ont recouru parfois \u00e0 elle pour conforter leurs \u00ab\u00a0pitches\u00a0\u00bb, ils s\u2019en sont \u00e9galement moqu\u00e9 et de fort belle mani\u00e8re. Cela ne veut pas dire, <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2024\/10\/04\/de-lintelligence-artificielle-generale\/\">comme vous le savez d\u00e9j\u00e0 depuis 1950<\/a>, que les machines ne peuvent cr\u00e9er. Cela signifie plut\u00f4t que la question du \u00ab pourquoi le nouveau \u00bb est bien plus importante que sa facture.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Le r\u00f4le du designer au c\u0153ur du d\u00e9bat.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Face aux avanc\u00e9es technologiques et aux changements soci\u00e9taux, les intervenants ont soulign\u00e9 qu\u2019il ne servait \u00e0 rien de courir et qu\u2019il valait mieux partir \u00e0 point.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Et surtout, cette remise en cause de l\u2019objectif du design pose clairement la question de la <b>responsabilit\u00e9<\/b> des <b>designers<\/b> dans l\u2019impact des <b>produits<\/b> et des <b>services qu\u2019ils cr\u00e9ent.<\/b> Au m\u00eame titre, sinon plus, que <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2021\/07\/09\/marketing-responsable\/\">celle des marketeurs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Souhaitons que cet effort demand\u00e9 aux designers ait plus d\u2019\u00e9chos que celui de ces quelques marketeurs et vendeurs qui tentent d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment de changer les choses et se heurtent au poids des habitudes. Aussi bien de la part des clients que des fournisseurs et des employ\u00e9s.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Beaucoup d\u2019\u00e9quipes ont soulign\u00e9, sous couvert d\u2019humour, les difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 se faire entendre des clients et des annonceurs. Derri\u00e8re le \u00ab\u00a0Faites-moi du nouveau\u00a0\u00bb, il y a souvent en \u00e9cho \u00ab\u00a0Mais pr\u00e9servez le statu quo\u00a0\u00bb.
