L&rsquo;occasion pour moi de faire le bilan d&rsquo;un an d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;utilisation de l&rsquo;IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative pour la fabrication d&rsquo;images dans Visionary Marketing.<\/p>\n<h3>IA g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives et contenu : l&rsquo;enthousiasme avant le recul<\/h3>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s \u00e0 une p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;enthousiasme, lors de laquelle je me suis amus\u00e9 \u00e0 produire des images dans tous les sens, est arriv\u00e9 un moment de r\u00e9flexion o\u00f9 j&rsquo;ai pu prendre un peu de recul par rapport \u00e0 cela. Comme je l&rsquo;ai expliqu\u00e9 pendant le d\u00e9bat, cela m&rsquo;a rappel\u00e9 les filtres HDR quand j&rsquo;ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2023\/06\/photoshop-ia\/\">Adobe Lightroom<\/a> il y a 12 ans. De dos, la journaliste de Strat\u00e9gies.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Voici quelques r\u00e9flexions en vrac sur cette utilisation d&rsquo;outils qui, de mon point de vue, restent int\u00e9ressants, mais qui n\u00e9cessitent d&rsquo;\u00eatre remis dans un contexte d&rsquo;utilisation g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e par les acteurs du Web et les m\u00e9dias.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>D&rsquo;une part, ce qui \u00e9tait amusant au d\u00e9part, car accessible \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9 de personnes, devient r\u00e9p\u00e9titif et ennuyeux. On voit trop de ces images sur tous les supports m\u00e9dias et Internet. Les lecteurs me le font remarquer. Mon co-auteur me dit m\u00eame ne pas comprendre que je n&rsquo;utilise pas plus mes propres images alors <a href=\"https:\/\/antimuseum.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">que je suis photographe<\/a>. Il a \u00e0 la fois raison et tort, j&rsquo;y reviens par la suite. En attendant, l&rsquo;image \u00e0 la une de ce billet est une photo originale (et volontairement sibylline).<\/li>\n<li>D&rsquo;autre part, ces images, souvent produites \u00e0 la va-vite, finissent par se ressembler toutes. Elles affichent aussi souvent un look assez criard, avec des couleurs satur\u00e9es tr\u00e8s caract\u00e9ristiques des images virtuelles. Elles sont aussi assez banalis\u00e9es et parfois vulgaires. Je con\u00e7ois qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une appr\u00e9ciation personnelle. Mais apr\u00e8s tout, en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;images, il n&rsquo;existe pas de crit\u00e8res objectifs.<\/li>\n<li>Une g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation \u00e9galement des images de type \u00ab heroic fantasy \u00bb, genre contre lequel je n&rsquo;ai rien en particulier, m\u00eame si ce n&rsquo;est pas mon go\u00fbt. Ceci semble n\u00e9anmoins apporter de l&rsquo;eau au moulin de cette banalisation des images. On peut ajouter \u00e0 ce lot des illustrations de science-fiction qui sont parfois assez r\u00e9ussies, mais qui donne \u00e9galement un aspect de d\u00e9j\u00e0-vu au contenu.<\/li>\n<li>Un sentiment parfois de malaise par rapport \u00e0 des images qui sont tr\u00e8s r\u00e9alistes et qui en m\u00eame temps ne le sont pas. C&rsquo;est un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne connu dans le domaine digital sous le nom de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vall\u00e9e_de_l%27\u00e9trange\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uncanny Valley<\/a>, ou \u00ab\u00a0vall\u00e9e de l&rsquo;inhabituel\u00a0\u00bb. Nous reviendrons sur ce concept plus en d\u00e9tail d&rsquo;ici peu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Nous sommes pass\u00e9s par plusieurs \u00e9tapes<\/h3>\n<p>En fait, sur Visionary Marketing nous sommes pass\u00e9s par plusieurs \u00e9tapes. Au d\u00e9but, nous n&rsquo;utilisions que les images de <a href=\"https:\/\/flickr.com\/YAG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mon stock personnel<\/a>. Tous les r\u00e9dacteurs de Visionary Marketing \u00e9taient oblig\u00e9s de passer par ce stock d&rsquo;images r\u00e9duit. Ces photos \u00e9taient personnelles, et donc forc\u00e9ment uniques, mais un sentiment de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition est arriv\u00e9 rapidement. Cela a permis de sortir du syndrome limitatif, mais en apportant une certaine banalisation des images. Ceci a pu \u00eatre dommageable dans certains cas. Heureusement, nous utilisons Jumpstory et cette banque d&rsquo;images est plus inhabituelle. Mais il faut chercher longtemps.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Depuis un an, les IA g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives<\/h3>\n<p>Puis depuis l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, troisi\u00e8me \u00e9tape, nous faisons une utilisation plus intensive des IA g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives pour produire des illustrations de nos articles. Dans tous les cas, que ce soit la premi\u00e8re, la deuxi\u00e8me ou la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9tape, nous en sommes arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la m\u00eame conclusion : utiliser la m\u00eame source d&rsquo;images tout le temps, provoque un sentiment de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition, de lassitude, et de banalisation.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut donc m\u00e9langer les diff\u00e9rents types d&rsquo;images et surtout, comme je l&rsquo;explique dans le d\u00e9bat repris par Strat\u00e9gies, \u00eatre capable de ma\u00eetriser le prompt de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 produire des illustrations qui soient diff\u00e9rentes de ce que l&rsquo;on voit habituellement sur les r\u00e9seaux.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>Ce que j&rsquo;ai remarqu\u00e9 c&rsquo;est que les prompts plus abstraits, qu&rsquo;il faut a priori bannir, sont au contraire ceux qui permettent de produire les images les plus int\u00e9ressantes, les plus originales et qui sortent du lot.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Enfin, une ma\u00eetrise avanc\u00e9e de tous ces outils, IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative, Photoshop, Illustrator, ou l&rsquo;ensemble de ces logiciels, permet de garder une ma\u00eetrise totale sur l&rsquo;image et de sortir de ce syndrome de la banalisation de l&rsquo;illustration.<\/p>\n<p>Dernier point et non des moindres, il ne faut pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 revenir sur son contenu pour en changer les illustrations qui, avec du recul, vous semblent trop banales, trop st\u00e9r\u00e9otyp\u00e9es ou trop criardes. On va pouvoir utiliser l\u2019IA g\u00e9n\u00e9rative comme un co-pilote, un assistant qui va nous donner des superpouvoirs pour gagner du temps et de l\u2019argent.&nbsp;\u00bb Explique Emmanuel Vivier, cofondateur du HUB Institute.
