En avant pour le premier billet de cette s\u00e9rie, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on verra que le B2B n&rsquo;est pas forc\u00e9ment ce que l&rsquo;on croit.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>L&rsquo;IA, la vente et le \u00ab\u00a0secteur\u00a0\u00bb du B2B<\/h3>\n<p>Quand j&rsquo;ai lu le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forrester.com\/fn\/3NQ4IKABPkktSrBe9n2Gff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dernier rapport de Forrester<\/a>\u00a0(publi\u00e9 en octobre dernier) sur <strong>l&rsquo;avenir de la vente en B2B<\/strong>, cela m&rsquo;a rappel\u00e9 de bons souvenirs, avec ce dossier <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2015\/09\/vente-b2b\/\">Death of a B2B Salesman de 2015<\/a> que nous avions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sparklane-group.com\/fr\/blog\/comment-les-big-data-vont-bouleverser-les-ventes-en-b2b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">d\u00e9j\u00e0 comment\u00e9<\/a> sur le blog Sales &amp; Marketing Insiders de Sparklane.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re chose qui m&rsquo;a frapp\u00e9 c&rsquo;est que l&rsquo;on parle \u2014 dans ce rapport comme ailleurs \u2014 du business to business comme d&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a0secteur\u00a0\u00bb homog\u00e8ne, en supposant que tous les comportements sont sinon identiques, du moins coh\u00e9rents dans leurs sch\u00e9mas, et que la vente (ou l&rsquo;achat si on se place de l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9) en B2B, par voie de cons\u00e9quence, suit aussi des voies parall\u00e8les.<\/p>\n<p>Or je pense justement que le business to business, et par extension, la vente dans ce domaine, sont au contraire d&rsquo;une incroyable richesse et vari\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Je travaille en effet dans le \u00ab\u00a0secteur\u00a0\u00bb du B2B depuis plus de 30 ans et j&rsquo;ai roul\u00e9 ma bosse, dans la vente et le marketing, \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s dans tous les compartiments du B2B, en commen\u00e7ant par les appareils m\u00e9nagers, les petits et les gros (d\u00e9j\u00e0 deux sous-secteurs radicalement diff\u00e9rents dans la m\u00eame industrie), puis en allant vers la High-tech, le mat\u00e9riel, le logiciel, les services, le conseil, sans oublier une exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;acheteur en miroir de tous ces sous-secteurs, sur plus de la moiti\u00e9 de cette exp\u00e9rience.<\/p>\n<p>Voici r\u00e9sum\u00e9e en 3 points ma r\u00e9flexion, puis je vous inviterai \u00e0 lire la suite du billet par le lien ci-dessous. J&rsquo;ai remis le podcast r\u00e9alis\u00e9 pour Sparklane dans le n\u00f4tre, pour plus de facilit\u00e9 \u00e0 suivre le raisonnement.<\/p>\n<h4>1er constat : le B2B et le B2C se rapprochent (mais pas partout)<\/h4>\n<p>Il y a 3 ans j&rsquo;avais r\u00e9alis\u00e9 pour Capgemini un dossier sur B2B et B2C pour expliquer en quoi ces deux domaines \u00e9taient diff\u00e9rents, mais aussi plus proches qu&rsquo;on pouvait le penser. C&rsquo;est ce que nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 sur le blog Marketing Insiders. Cette grille de lecture est n\u00e9cessaire avant d&rsquo;\u00e9mettre des jugements \u00e0 l&#8217;emporte pi\u00e8ce. D&rsquo;un sous-secteur \u00e0 un autre, le B2B est fortement disparate.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>En fait les choses ne fonctionnent pas ainsi. Vendre au grand public peut \u00eatre complexe et impliquer des sommes consid\u00e9rables. Si vous vendez des yachts de 2 millions \u20ac \u00e0 de riches particuliers ou des appartements de luxe dans les m\u00eames tarifs, vous avez de fortes chanced de vous trouver dans des m\u00e9canismes de vente complexe tr\u00e8s similaires \u00e0 certaines formes de B2B.<\/p>\n<p>Si au contraire vous vendez des cartouches d&rsquo;encre \u00e0 des assistantes de direction en ligne sur Internet, certes vous vendez \u00e0 des \u00ab\u00a0professionnelles\u00a0\u00bb mais en fait, cet acte de vente est assimilable \u00e0 du mass marketing.<\/p>\n<h4>3e constat : IA et automatisation de la vente ne peuvent donc pas s&rsquo;appliquer de mani\u00e8re uniforme au business to business<\/h4>\n<figure id=\"attachment_61670\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-61670\" style=\"width: 520px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-61670 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jumpstory-download20210304-070543.jpg\" alt=\"Vente en business to business\" width=\"520\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jumpstory-download20210304-070543.jpg 520w, https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jumpstory-download20210304-070543-459x300.jpg 459w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-61670\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Prix entre 2 extr\u00eames, l&rsquo;avion de la vente en business to business doit apprendre naviguer et se frayer un chemin.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>En cons\u00e9quence, on ne peut appliquer les m\u00e9thodes de l&rsquo;IA et de l&rsquo;automatisation aux forces de vente de mani\u00e8re uniforme. Cela est impossible et n&rsquo;a pas de sens.<\/p>\n<p>Sans aller jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 dire qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;existe que des cas particuliers, la vente en B2B comporte diff\u00e9rents sch\u00e9mas qui vont d&rsquo;un extr\u00eame (la vente automatisable pour les commodit\u00e9s du business to business comme les fournitures de bureau; d&rsquo;ailleurs souvent vendues dans des magasins ouverts au grand public) \u00e0 un autre, la vente ultra personnalis\u00e9e sur des cycles tr\u00e8s longs avec des n\u00e9gociations complexes impliquant souvent un grand nombre de d\u00e9cideurs (comme dans un contrat d&rsquo;outsourcing d&rsquo;un milliard d&rsquo;euros par exemple).<\/p>\n<p>IA et automatisation sont donc applicables \u00e0 tous mais pas au m\u00eame endroit, ni au m\u00eame moment ni de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re ni avec les m\u00eames outils.<\/p>\n<p>Comme toujours, quand on fouille un sujet, on d\u00e9couvre toujours que la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est plus complexe qu&rsquo;on croyait. Voici\u00a0donc\u00a0une occasion r\u00eav\u00e9e pour lancer une s\u00e9rie de billets sur ce sujet, tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, qui<strong>\u00a0traitera de toutes les facettes de l\u2019\u00e9volution du m\u00e9tier des commerciaux sous cette pouss\u00e9e technologique<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sans oublier la transformation \u00e0 marche forc\u00e9e que vous vivons aujourd\u2019hui du fait de cette crise, qui marquera durablement le paysage de la vente. Pour lancer cette s\u00e9rie, je vous propose de creuser le chiffre de Forrester annonc\u00e9 dans notre titre et de tenter de mieux comprendre ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>60% des commerciaux B2B seront assist\u00e9s par l\u2019IA et l\u2019automatisation (Forrester)<\/h3>\n<p>Forrester est un groupe d\u2019analystes que j\u2019appr\u00e9cie particuli\u00e8rement du fait de leur ind\u00e9pendance. Leur vision du futur de la vente en B2B pour 2021 r\u00e9sonne tout sp\u00e9cialement, car elle d\u00e9crit, entre autres choses,\u00a0<strong>la place pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante\u00a0prise par l\u2019IA et l\u2019automatisation dans le monde de la vente<\/strong>\u00a0(on devrait plut\u00f4t dire \u00ab\u00a0<em>Smarketing<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019ailleurs, tant ces deux sph\u00e8res sont en interaction croissante et constante). Au point de former la base de ce qu\u2019il est convenu d\u2019appeler d\u00e9sormais le \u00ab\u00a0commercial augment\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Pour autant, \u00e9vacuons tout de suite les\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inc.com\/nick-hedges\/will-salespeople-be-replaced-by-robots.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">visions fantaisistes de commerciaux robots ou remplac\u00e9s par des machines<\/a>\u00a0et\u00a0<strong>parlons\u00a0plut\u00f4t d\u2019un\u00a0avenir plus humain et plus r\u00e9aliste<\/strong>, o\u00f9 la machine et les algorithmes seront de plus en plus pr\u00e9sents pour nous \u00e9pauler.
