J\u2019ai voulu comprendre comment \u00e9voluait la veille sur Internet en interrogeant mon confr\u00e8re Aur\u00e9lien Blaha dans les locaux de <a href=\"http:\/\/digimind.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Digimind<\/a>. Aur\u00e9lien a balay\u00e9 pour nos lecteurs les diff\u00e9rentes p\u00e9riodes de la veille sur le Web et les m\u00e9dias sociaux. Un retour en arri\u00e8re particuli\u00e8rement large puisque la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 grenobloise \u2014 d\u00e9sormais pr\u00e9sente dans le monde entier \u2014 a f\u00eat\u00e9 ses 20 ans l\u2019an dernier. En conclusion je retiens une chose : la <strong>veille sur Internet c&rsquo;est bien, mais il faut apprendre \u00e0 mieux \u00e9couter ses clients<\/strong>. Voici un condens\u00e9 de mon interview avec Aur\u00e9lien, que vous retrouverez int\u00e9gralement dans la vid\u00e9o associ\u00e9e.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Premi\u00e8re p\u00e9riode de la veille sur Internet : 1998*-2008<\/h2>\n<p>A l\u2019\u00e9poque, on ne parle pas de Web social, c\u2019est la premi\u00e8re p\u00e9riode du Web. Peu apr\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation par <a href=\"https:\/\/web30.web.cern.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tim Berners Lee<\/a>. Un exercice plus difficile qu&rsquo;il y para\u00eet pour beaucoup d&rsquo;entreprises<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><em>* date de la cr\u00e9ation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Digimind \u00e0 Grenoble<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><!--more-->2008 2018 : trouver le diamant dans la for\u00eat vierge<\/h3>\n<p>Cette p\u00e9riode est au contraire marqu\u00e9e par le trop plein d&rsquo;informations puisque dans le milieu de la premi\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9es tout un tas de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s : Facebook en 2004, YouTube en 2006 et ainsi de suite. La p\u00e9riode 2008 2018 a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 une pl\u00e9thore d&rsquo;informations. La mission de la veille restait cependant la m\u00eame, arriver \u00e0 trouver l&rsquo;information pertinente.<\/p>\n<p>Cette p\u00e9riode a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge d&rsquo;or du <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/2016\/09\/social-media-listening-flashtweet\/\"><strong>social media listening<\/strong><\/a> : il s\u2019agissait de trouver un diamant dans une for\u00eat vierge.<\/p>\n<h3>2018-2028 : nouvelle \u00e8re de la veille sur Internet<\/h3>\n<p>2018 a sonn\u00e9 le gong pour une nouvelle \u00e8re, la troisi\u00e8me, pour la d\u00e9cennie actuelle.<\/p>\n<p>2018 a \u00e9t\u00e9 une p\u00e9riode charni\u00e8re, nous entrons d\u00e9sormais dans une nouvelle \u00e8re de la veille. \u00c0 la suite des abus comme celui de Cambridge Analytica, une certaine lassitude s\u2019est fait sentir. L\u2019arriv\u00e9e de la RGPD a aussi permis de clarifier un certain nombre de choses sur les limites \u00e0 poser en termes d&rsquo;utilisation des donn\u00e9es personnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Mais si cette fatigue est r\u00e9elle en Europe dans le reste du monde la situation est tout autre. Quand on regarde le top 10 des pays qui utilisent Facebook, il y a \u00e9videmment a les Etats-Unis mais les neuf autres sont des pays d&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique latine d&rsquo;Asie ou d&rsquo;Afrique.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"[Fr]\u00a0Petite histoire du social media listening avec @aurelienblaha\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IMIpA7Td91g?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>L\u2019intelligence artificielle pour aider la veille Internet<\/h3>\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de la tarte \u00e0 la cr\u00e8me, la premi\u00e8re chose \u00e0 noter c\u2019est l\u2019importance de l\u2019intelligence artificielle. Ce sont des technologies qui vont nous permettre de g\u00e9rer un flux d&rsquo;informations qui va continuer \u00e0 cro\u00eetre malgr\u00e9 toutes les vicissitudes actuelles.<\/p>\n<p>Surtout, il va falloir les traiter de mani\u00e8re plus intelligente et plus fine en fonction des vraies attentes des clients en B2B ou en B2C.<\/p>\n<p>On ne peut pas se doter de milliers de ressources marketing qui vont g\u00e9rer des campagnes personnalis\u00e9es pour chacun d&rsquo;entre nous. Donc le seul moyen de pallier ce probl\u00e8me est d&rsquo;utiliser effectivement l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle qui va \u00eatre capable d&rsquo;adapter le message en fonction des attentes.<\/p>\n<h3>Mieux \u00e9couter les consommateurs et en tirer des enseignements avec la veille sur Internet<\/h3>\n<p>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que les entreprises tirent comme enseignement de ce qu&rsquo;elles \u00e9coutent ? On peut tr\u00e8s bien \u00e9couter ce que les consommateurs disent sur ses produits ou ses concurrents ou les tendances de march\u00e9, et s&rsquo;en arr\u00eater l\u00e0. Or, la <strong>vraie question est de savoir ce qu\u2019on va en faire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est vraiment cela le c\u0153ur du sujet et de ce point de vue-l\u00e0, <strong>les entreprises d\u2019aujourd&rsquo;hui sont encore d\u00e9butantes<\/strong>. Elles se basent encore sur ce qu\u2019elles imaginent des souhaits du consommateur et pas forc\u00e9ment de leurs perceptions r\u00e9elles.<\/p>\n<h3>Les sources de la veille qui peuvent \u00e9clairer les entreprises<\/h3>\n<p>La partie sociale et conversationnelle du Web permet de capter les expressions des clients qui laissent des traces sur les m\u00e9dias sociaux, mais en compl\u00e9ment de cela il existe d\u2019autres sources.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a notamment toutes les sources plus classiques qui ne sont pas dans le domaine des m\u00e9dias sociaux comme les news, les blogs et les forums. Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de sources publiques ou m\u00eame de bases de donn\u00e9es priv\u00e9es avec des acc\u00e8s payants. Nous avons m\u00eame des partenaires couvrent le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digimind.com\/fr\/news\/interview-christophe-asselin-i24-deepweb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dark Web et le Deep Web<\/a> sur des sujets plus critiques. C&rsquo;est cet ensemble de sources qui fait une veille vraiment compl\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<h3>Zoom sur le Dark Web<\/h3>\n<p>Il y a tout un pan d&rsquo;applications autour du Dark Web qui sont int\u00e9ressantes. Notamment dans le B2C avec la contrefa\u00e7on. Quand on parle de ce sujet on pense imm\u00e9diatement aux produits de luxe, mais il peut s\u2019agir de m\u00e9dicaments par exemple.<\/p>\n<p>On touche aussi \u00e0 des sujets sensibles dans le domaine de la banque-assurance et le d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement des r\u00e9seaux de fraude.<\/p>\n<h3>Depuis le d\u00e9but, dans le Web le meilleur et le pire se c\u00f4toient<\/h3>\n<p>Pour moi, depuis les d\u00e9but du Web, le meilleur comme le pire se c\u00f4toient. Je pense qu\u2019il en est ainsi dans la nature humaine aussi.
