Les plus jeunes lecteurs de ce billet auront du mal \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre. Les moins jeunes aussi, comme Michel*, commercial quinquag\u00e9naire chez Grapheme Interactive, une agence de publicit\u00e9 parisienne. Pourtant, loin de booster sa productivit\u00e9, le volume de ses e-mails transforme sa journ\u00e9e de travail en un v\u00e9ritable enfer. Et aussi celle de ses coll\u00e8gues et partenaires.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>L\u2019univers de la publicit\u00e9 est vraiment tr\u00e9pidant. Chez Grapheme Interactive, tout le monde se plaint d\u2019\u00eatre \u00ab surbook\u00e9 \u00bb. La pression est forte, d\u2019autant que l\u2019agence a perdu pas mal d\u2019appels d\u2019offres r\u00e9cemment face \u00e0 de petites agences hyper r\u00e9actives. Michel supporte mal cette situation, lui qui a le sentiment de ne pas arr\u00eater une minute. Non seulement il a fait tout le trajet depuis son domicile debout dans un m\u00e9tro surcharg\u00e9, mais en plus l\u2019e-mail qu\u2019il a consult\u00e9 sur son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone avant que le r\u00e9seau ne coupe augurait mal de la journ\u00e9e. Il se dit qu\u2019au lieu de lire ce mail, il aurait mieux fait de prendre un bon bouquin.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.adobe.com\/fr\/publish\/2017\/09\/07\/enquete-dadobe-sur-les-e-mails-adoptez-la-bonne-conduite-pour-interagir-avec-vos-clients\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mais comme 79% des cadres europ\u00e9ens, il ne peut pas s\u2019emp\u00eacher de consulter sa messagerie professionnelle en dehors des heures de bureau<\/strong>.<\/a><br \/>\nA peine Michel a-t-il franchi le seuil de son entreprise qu\u2019il se livre \u00e0 ses addictions favorites pour passer ses nerfs : il en grille une dans les couloirs (au grand dam de ses coll\u00e8gues, mais apr\u00e8s tout, \u00ab on travaille dans la pub \u00bb), il se fait un caf\u00e9 serr\u00e9 \u2026 et il d\u00e9marre sa messagerie. Dans un monde id\u00e9al, Michel aurait m\u00e2chouill\u00e9 un chewing-gum et, agenda et crayon en main, il aurait fix\u00e9 ses objectifs de la journ\u00e9e, avant m\u00eame d\u2019allumer son ordinateur. Mais on ne se refait pas.\u00a0<strong>A 09 :30, Michel est d\u00e9j\u00e0 noy\u00e9, en train de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ses messages.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10 :00<\/strong>\u00a0Fran\u00e7ois, le chef de Michel, est en train de pr\u00e9parer une r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 un appel d\u2019offres qui peut sauver le trimestre de l\u2019agence. Il se souvient que Michel lui avait envoy\u00e9 une information cl\u00e9 il y a quelque temps, et l\u2019appelle pour qu\u2019il la lui renvoie.\u00a0<strong>Si cette information avait transit\u00e9 via un outil collaboratif, Michel aurait retrouv\u00e9 sa trace en un clin d\u2019\u0153il.<\/strong>\u00a0Mais chez Grapheme Interactive, tout passe par l\u2019e-mail. Le pauvre Michel se trouve donc r\u00e9duit \u00e0 fouiller dans ses e-mails sortants. Et ils sont nombreux. Il ne retrouve l\u2019info qu\u2019\u00e0 11 :00. La productivit\u00e9 de Michel et de Fran\u00e7ois en a pris un coup. Avec en prime beaucoup de stress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11 :00 \u2013 12 :00<\/strong>\u00a0Michel a besoin d\u2019une explication sur la clause d\u2019un contrat sign\u00e9 par la filiale lyonnaise. Au lieu d\u2019appeler son coll\u00e8gue juriste, il lui envoie un mail. Comme la question est un peu compliqu\u00e9e, un match de ping-pong par messagerie interpos\u00e9e d\u00e9marre, alors qu\u2019il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 si simple de s\u2019appeler ou d\u2019organiser une visioconf\u00e9rence.
