Quiconque \u00e9crit sur Internet et a la chance &#8211; ou le talent, selon les interpr\u00e9tations &#8211; de jouir d\u2019un lectorat cons\u00e9quent a d\u00e9j\u00e0 v\u00e9cu au moins une fois cette exp\u00e9rience de voir son contenu pill\u00e9 ou recopi\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Il arrive en effet que des individus mal intentionn\u00e9s, comme cela est indiqu\u00e9 dans l\u2019article par Rosalind Gardner, confondent curation et copie, citation et plagiat, inspiration et recopie. C\u2019est tr\u00e8s mal bien entendu, mais en m\u00eame temps, quand on \u00e9crit sur Internet il faut savoir se blinder et prendre un peu de hauteur. Moi aussi j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 victime du plagiat et la premi\u00e8re fois que cela m&rsquo;est arriv\u00e9, j&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s m\u00e9content. Mais \u00e0 y regarder de plus pr\u00e8s, le plagiat n\u2019est pas si grave que cela. Dans un sens, c\u2019est m\u00eame une forme d\u2019hommage.<\/p>\n<p>Ma r\u00e9action, au fil des ans, s\u2019est en effet modifi\u00e9e sur ce sujet. M\u00eame si, je le r\u00e9p\u00e8te \u00e0 nouveau, sur le fond, le probl\u00e8me d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 est techniquement r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n<p>Un jour, alors que je faisais une pr\u00e9sentation \u00e0 Lille devant un panel de jeunes, dont quelques \u00e9tudiants fra\u00eechement dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s, l\u2019un d\u2019eux s\u2019est exclam\u00e9 devant ma pr\u00e9sentation : mais je les ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 vus ces slides, mon professeur les avait utilis\u00e9s (sans dire qui les avait cr\u00e9\u00e9s bien-s\u00fbr).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Horreur, malheur me direz-vous ! Sauf que celui qui est pass\u00e9 pour une patate n\u2019est pas le vol\u00e9 mais le voleur, qui a perdu ainsi toute cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de son ancien \u00e9l\u00e8ve. Et quel plaisir de voir son contenu repris par un membre du corps enseignant. Quelque part c\u2019est un chouette hommage.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019ailleurs, le contenu sur le Web a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 construit pour \u00eatre repris et transform\u00e9. Bien entendu, il est plus \u00e9l\u00e9gant et agr\u00e9able d\u2019\u00eatre cit\u00e9. C\u2019est m\u00eame ce que je fais dans ce billet, en utilisant la meilleure fonctionnalit\u00e9 de WordPress qui est aussi une des plus ignor\u00e9es : \u00ab\u00a0Press This\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Voil\u00e0 en effet la bonne pratique, la citation, le lien et le commentaire personnalis\u00e9. Que demander de plus ? Je pratique cet exercice assez souvent et c\u2019est un bon entra\u00eenement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9criture et au commentaire.<\/p>\n<p>Pas de quoi fouetter une souris en conclusion, sauf qu\u2019il faut mentionner l\u2019\u00e9pouvantail du content marketing : le contenu dupliqu\u00e9 ou \u00ab\u00a0duplicate content\u00a0\u00bb en bon fran\u00e7ais.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e8gle veut en effet que le site le moins bien plac\u00e9 en r\u00e9f\u00e9rencement (voir l\u2019article en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour les d\u00e9tails sanglants) est celui qui est p\u00e9nalis\u00e9 pour contenu dupliqu\u00e9. Et non le site original. En soi c\u2019est injuste. Google devrait \u00eatre capable de d\u00e9terminer l\u2019ant\u00e9riorit\u00e9 d\u2019un texte. Ainsi, si je donne mon contenu \u00e0 Frenchweb, mon site se d\u00e9 r\u00e9f\u00e9rence et sort de Google. Il est p\u00e9nalis\u00e9, il tombe \u00e0 la trappe et dispara\u00eet.<\/p>\n<p>Oui, tout \u00e0 fait. Il dispara\u00eet. Sauf que je l\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait et cela n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 le cas. D\u2019une part il ne faut pas le faire syst\u00e9matiquement mais une fois de temps en temps ne fait pas trop de mal. Je n\u2019ai pas eu \u00e0 m\u2019en plaindre pour ma part. Et si je ne l\u2019ai pas fait depuis un moment ce n\u2019est pas par peur de d\u00e9-r\u00e9f\u00e9rencement mais par manque de temps ou de n\u00e9gligence. En fait c\u2019est tr\u00e8s bon que votre contenu soit repris ailleurs. Au diable le r\u00e9f\u00e9rencement, profitez de celui des autres. Apr\u00e8s tout vous n\u2019imaginez pas concurrencer Frenchweb ?!<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du terrain, je m\u2019en suis aper\u00e7u maintes fois, c&rsquo;est qu\u2019\u00e0 petites doses Google r\u00e9f\u00e9rence parfaitement et plusieurs fois le m\u00eame contenu. Je l\u2019ai encore vu aujourd\u2019hui sur un des mes billets repris par une autre personne sur son blog. Mais je sais qu\u2019il ne la pas fait pour nuire et nous a cit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s gentiment. Je ne pense pas que ce soit grave (je l\u2019ai retrouv\u00e9 3 fois dans les r\u00e9sultats cons\u00e9cutifs de la premi\u00e8re page des r\u00e9sultats de Google).<\/p>\n<p>Si votre contenu \u00e9tait syst\u00e9matiquement pill\u00e9, alors r\u00e9jouissez vous. Et sablez le champagne avant d\u2019appeler l\u2019avocat. C\u2019est que ce que vous avez cr\u00e9\u00e9 a un impact. Personne ne copie un obscur auteur ou un \u00e9crivain nul. Les classiques sont quant \u00e0 eux en acc\u00e8s libre (libres de droit en ebook sur Amazon par exemple) et tout le monde les copie joyeusement et cela n\u2019emp\u00eache qu\u2019ils continuent de faire partie des meilleures ventes de livre.<\/p>\n<p>Offrez votre contenu, ouvrez-vous aux autres et dans le pire des cas, r\u00e9clamez qu\u2019on vous cite*.
