J\u2019ai d\u00e9crypt\u00e9 ici cet article, que j\u2019ai voulu ludique en lui donnant un aspect \u00ab\u00a0BD\u00a0\u00bb qui permet de raconter une histoire. Ainsi, je d\u00e9montre \u00e0 la fois la raison d\u2019\u00eatre de la vente consultative et la pertinence du content marketing, tout en montrant qu\u2019on peut, assez facilement, sc\u00e9nariser un article de fond pour le rendre moins aride<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170709041701\/https:\/\/www.sparklane-group.com\/fr\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">. Je reprends donc ici le texte de l\u2019article original sur le blog de Sparklane,<\/a> et je donne mes explications mettre en valeur les arguments qui y sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Une journ\u00e9e dans la vie d&rsquo;une commerciale en vente consultative<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"NewImage.png\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NewImage-3.png\" alt=\"La vente consultative\" width=\"598\" height=\"443\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Au-del\u00e0 du clin d\u2019oeil litt\u00e9raire du titre, j\u2019ai voulu montrer l\u2019importance de la vente consultative au travers d\u2019une d\u00e9marche de storytelling en bandes dessin\u00e9es.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a7 1 : \u00ab\u00a0Difficile de se d\u00e9marquer avec un produit blanc\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le point de d\u00e9part de ce billet est, comme souvent en marketing B2B, la probl\u00e9matique. Or, la probl\u00e9matique de la vente est bien de sortir du lot. Or, comment faire quand son produit, son service, est juste comme les autres ? Ici j\u2019ai pris l\u2019exemple de la pompe \u00e0 chaleur, un produit banalis\u00e9 qui ne permet pas une vente par la diff\u00e9renciation produit (ce produit est moins cher, il est plus beau, il a plus de fonctions \u2026). Ne croyez pas que cela s\u2019applique uniquement aux produits banalis\u00e9s comme les pompes \u00e0 chaleur, ni aux produits industriels.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cela concerne m\u00eame les services. A tout instant, dans un march\u00e9 qui m\u00fbrit, on atteint un pic de banalisation o\u00f9 les fournisseurs se copient tous les uns les autres. Il y a bien quelques exceptions &#8211; comme <a href=\"http:\/\/dyson.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dyson<\/a> &#8211; qui arrivent \u00e0 faire breveter des produits et faire en sorte que ceux-ci soient si sup\u00e9rieurs que la diff\u00e9rence de prix n\u2019a plus d\u2019importance (jusque 4 fois dans ce cas), ou m\u00eame des exemples comme celui de <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/blendtec.com%20\">Blentec<\/span>, qui a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 mettre son produit tellement au-dessus des autres par l\u2019excellence de son marketing de contenu (cf. <a href=\"http:\/\/willitblend.com\">Will it Blend<\/a>?) Mais il n\u2019y a pas de garantie que cela marche \u00e0 tous les coups. Bien plus souvent, le commercial se trouvera plac\u00e9 dans une situation d\u00e9licate o\u00f9 il ou elle sera oblig\u00e9 de d\u00e9marquer un produit qui finalement n\u2019est pas diff\u00e9rent de son voisin. C\u2019est le cas que nous avons choisi ici et pour le d\u00e9montrer, nous avons demand\u00e9 \u00e0 Julie Martin (alias <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/miatawile\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mia Tawile de Visionary Marketing<\/a>) de se pr\u00eater au jeu de la pose pour la r\u00e9alisation de quelques cases de BD d\u2019illustrations.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p><em>Julie Martin est commerciale, c&rsquo;est d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s bien. Mais elle est plus qu&rsquo;une simple commerciale, car elle pratique la vente consultative. Plongeons-nous dans une journ\u00e9e de Julie Martin, une journ\u00e9e extraordinaire, et pourtant comme les autres.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right;\" title=\"NewImage.png\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NewImage-1.png\" alt=\"vente consultative\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Julie est commerciale en vente consultative chez Weltentraum international, une entreprise sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e en pompes \u00e0 chaleur qui travaille en B2B via un r\u00e9seau de revendeurs. Les pompes \u00e0 chaleur sont un produit comme les autres, avec des fonctionnalit\u00e9s comme les autres et surtout, cela fait bien longtemps que les pompes \u00e0 chaleur ne sont plus une innovation. C&rsquo;est un produit banal. Dans le jargon du m\u00e9tier, on appelle \u00e7a un produit \u00ab blanc \u00bb. En d&rsquo;autres termes, les produits de Julie sont exactement, ou \u00e0 peu de choses pr\u00e8s, les m\u00eames que ceux de Jean, Marie ou Pierre. La concurrence que ceux-ci se livrent est donc f\u00e9roce.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>[\u2026]<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a7 2 une exp\u00e9rience de la vente et une exp\u00e9rience de l\u2019achat, \u00e7a vous ouvre les yeux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left;\" title=\"NewImage.png\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/NewImage-2.png\" alt=\"vente consultative - Michael Boasworth\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai pass\u00e9, moi aussi, de nombreuses ann\u00e9es \u00e0 vendre des \u00ab\u00a0produits blancs\u00a0\u00bb, et je peux dire que j\u2019ai beaucoup appris de toutes ces ann\u00e9es. Mais ce n\u2019est que plus tard que j\u2019ai appris \u00e0 conna\u00eetre la vente consultative, avec mon ami et ancien patron Bernard Molland, \u00e0 qui je dois beaucoup et que je n\u2019oublie pas ici. Bernard m\u2019a fait d\u00e9couvrir la sublime m\u00e9thode \u00ab\u00a0Solution Selling\u00a0\u00bb de Michael Bosworth, qui n\u2019est pas seulement un livre mais \u00e9galement une m\u00e9thode de vente qui est enseign\u00e9e encore aujourd\u2019hui dans le monde entier. vers la moiti\u00e9 des ann\u00e9es 2000, la direction des grands comptes d\u2019Orange Business Services (<em>transparence : dont j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019employ\u00e9 et un fournisseur aujourd\u2019hui<\/em>), sur les recommandations que nous avions faites avec Bernard, a mis en \u0153uvre cette m\u00e9thode en formant syst\u00e9matiquement tous ses vendeurs \u00e0 ces m\u00e9thodes.<\/p>\n<p>Ce fut un moment tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant, car nos commerciaux sont devenus, d\u00e8s cette \u00e9poque, beaucoup plus avanc\u00e9s que ce que l\u2019on voyait dans beaucoup d\u2019entreprises, malgr\u00e9 son pass\u00e9 d\u2019entreprise publique qui somme toute n\u2019\u00e9tait pas tr\u00e8s vieux \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque (moins de 10 ans). Cette m\u00e9thode a permis \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9rateur historique, entre autres changements, d\u2019amorcer le virage du service. Je suis fier d\u2019avoir particip\u00e9 \u00e0 cette aventure, en tant que conseil avec Bernard, mais aussi en tant qu\u2019acteur quand j\u2019ai cr\u00e9\u00e9 et que j\u2019animais le partenariat strat\u00e9gique avec Cisco de 2003 \u00e0 2005 (celui-ci d\u00e9gageait 60 millions d\u2019euros de business incr\u00e9mental annuel et a permis de placer l\u2019op\u00e9rateur de la 17\u00e8me \u00e0 la 1\u00e8re place des int\u00e9grateurs IP fran\u00e7ais). C\u2019est pour cela que vous trouverez dans ce billet la fameuse pyramide de Bosworth que j\u2019ai beaucoup utilis\u00e9e, non seulement comme un moyen de faire monter la vente dans la cha\u00eene de valeur, mais aussi de b\u00e2tir des strat\u00e9gies de contenus digitales.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>Cela me rappelle les ann\u00e9es o\u00f9 j&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 client. Toute la semaine, je voyais d\u00e9filer des commerciaux dans mon bureau, qui commen\u00e7aient leurs longs discours \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s par la m\u00eame phrase : \u00ab je vais vous montrer la pr\u00e9sentation PowerPoint de mon agence et vous expliquer pourquoi je l&rsquo;ai cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00bb.
