Les chiffres issus de l&rsquo;infographie de Tama Banki (ci-dessous et <a href=\"https:\/\/infogr.am\/linkedin---xing---viadeo?src=web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en ligne sur infogr.am<\/a>) laissent peu de place au doute. Les r\u00e9seaux locaux g\u00e9n\u00e9ralistes, y-compris <a href=\"http:\/\/xing.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Xing<\/a>, sont morts. Mais est-ce definitif ?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"JDNet donne une mauvaise note \u00e0 Viadeo \u2026 trop vite ?\" href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2011\/12\/jdnet-donne-une-mauvaise-note-a-viadeo-trop-vite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nous avions d\u00e9j\u00e0 pos\u00e9 cette question il y a quelque temps sur ce blog, et la r\u00e9ponse, \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque (2011), \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente<\/a>. Pour nous, on enterrait Viadeo trop vite, et il suffisait de regarder le succ\u00e8s de <a href=\"http:\/\/vk.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vkontakte<\/a> en Russie pour voir qu&rsquo;un champion local pouvait encore exister. Lorsqu&rsquo;on pense que LinkedIn avait compl\u00e8tement rat\u00e9 son lancement en France &#8230; en oubliant de traduire son interface en fran\u00e7ais&#8230; un comble quand on pense que son CTO (et co-fondateur) \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque \u00e9tait fran\u00e7ais ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigrantentrepreneurship.org\/entries\/konstantin-guericke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">il a quitt\u00e9 la start-up au moment de son IPO en m\u00eame temps qu&rsquo;un autre co-fondateur allemand (Konstantin Guericke)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pourtant, Viadeo n&rsquo;a pas su profiter de son avantage linguistique. Plus que cela, et encore aujourd&rsquo;hui, la plateforme fran\u00e7aise, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zdnet.fr\/actualites\/reseaux-sociaux-viaduc-devient-viadeo-pour-attaquer-l-international-39365032.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">qui avait une bonne longueur d&rsquo;avance sous son nom initiale \u00ab\u00a0Viaduc\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e8s 2006<\/a>, est seule \u00e0 proposer un CV bilingue anglais\/fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 ses utilisateurs. Pratique et original &#8230; et en m\u00eame temps une sacr\u00e9 contrainte qui oblige l&rsquo;utilisateur \u00e0 maintenir deux fichiers.<\/p>\n<p>Presque 10 ans plus tard et 12 ans apr\u00e8s la cr\u00e9ation de LinkedIn, autant dire une \u00e9ternit\u00e9, le paysage a chang\u00e9 et s&rsquo;est stabilis\u00e9 autour d&rsquo;une <a title=\"Les 4 piliers du marketing viral par Seth Godin\" href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2014\/10\/les-4-piliers-du-marketing-viral-par-seth-godin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">traditionnelle loi de Zipf<\/a> (1 champion, 1 challenger, 1 figurant &#8230; et le reste du monde dans une longue tra\u00eene avec des acteurs de niche en Russie et en Chine &#8211; m\u00eame si la niche chinoise est potentiellement tr\u00e8s grosse &#8230;). En soi, rien de choquant. Tous <a title=\"Les 4 piliers du marketing viral par Seth Godin\" href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2014\/10\/les-4-piliers-du-marketing-viral-par-seth-godin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">les march\u00e9s de l&rsquo;Internet finissent ainsi<\/a> (<a title=\"Economie : plus de concurrence tue-t-elle la concurrence\" href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2014\/10\/concurrence-economie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">et m\u00eame en dehors de l&rsquo;Internet<\/a>). Alors pourquoi expliquer que les march\u00e9s russes et chinois restent si diff\u00e9rents. J&rsquo;avancerais la langue et la culture comme raisons principales, dans des pays qui gardent suffisamment de sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;ind\u00e9pendance culturelles par rapport au monde occidental am\u00e9ricanis\u00e9. Ce qui, n&rsquo;en d\u00e9plaise \u00e0 certains, n&rsquo;est plus vraiment le cas ici. L&rsquo;\u00e9criture est \u00e9galement une barri\u00e8re non n\u00e9gligeable. Si vous \u00eates capable de lire &#8211; sans les comprendre &#8211; des langues slaves comme le Polonais ou le Tch\u00e8que, le Russe reste enti\u00e8rement herm\u00e9tique aux personnes non initi\u00e9es au Cyrillique. Nous n&rsquo;avons pas ce probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<h2>Les derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de Viadeo et Xing\u00a0?<\/h2>\n<p>Il est fort \u00e0 parier donc que Viadeo &#8211; et nous le regrettons fortement &#8211; vive ses derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Et sans doute que Xing &#8211; qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de la plus forte r\u00e9sistance du monde germanophone &#8211; m\u00eame avec un lectorat plus faible (les chiffres de l&rsquo;infographie sont trompeurs car ils doivent inclure des chinois et des russes qui font grossir la masse mais ne constituent pas une masse comparable vu que Xing s&rsquo;est retir\u00e9 des march\u00e9s non germanophones) mais plus soud\u00e9, pourra-t-il survivre plus longtemps en l&rsquo;\u00e9tat.<\/p>\n<p>Sans doute que le salut pour Viadeo tiendrait dans la mise en \u0153uvre de la strat\u00e9gie que recommandait son concurrent <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Reid_Hoffman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reid Hoffman<\/a> il y a quelques ann\u00e9es (et dont je ne peux h\u00e9las retrouver la source) : en substance, il disait qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y avait plus de place pour les r\u00e9seaux g\u00e9n\u00e9ralistes mais qu&rsquo;il en restait encore pour des r\u00e9seaux de niches. Si <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a> va en effet truster tous le march\u00e9 de la recherche d&#8217;emploi et du networking des 5-10 prochaines ann\u00e9es dans les domaines internationaux\/High-Tech\/haut de march\u00e9 &#8230; quid des employ\u00e9s, des emplois locaux, des artisans et des m\u00e9tiers manuels sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, des emplois publics et para-publics etc.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a encore une place \u00e0 prendre\u00a0pour ces march\u00e9s \u00e0 mon avis et pour cr\u00e9er un r\u00e9seau social qui s&rsquo;\u00e9loigne de ce que propose LinkedIn en regroupant les publics qui ne peuvent logiquement se retrouver dans la promesse du r\u00e9seau am\u00e9ricain&#8230; avant que l&rsquo;id\u00e9e ne lui vienne et qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;adapte \u00e0 ce march\u00e9 rapidement.\u00a0Ce n&rsquo;est bien entendu qu&rsquo;une id\u00e9e, mais elle me para\u00eet plus jouable que d&rsquo;essayer de rattraper ce qui est devenu irrattrapable.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: none;\" src=\"\/\/e.infogr.am\/linkedin---xing---viadeo\" width=\"550\" height=\"858\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 100%; border-top: 1px solid #acacac; padding-top: 3px; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10px; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"color: #acacac; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/infogr.am\/linkedin---xing---viadeo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Linkedin \u00a0 \u00a0 Xing \u00a0 \u00a0 Viadeo<\/a> | <a style=\"color: #acacac; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/infogr.am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Create infographics<\/a><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Extrait de l&rsquo;article des Echos<\/h2>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s Maxime Dubreil, analyste financier chez Invest Securities, en France, Viadeo devrait r\u00e9aliser un chiffre d\u2019affaires de 28 millions d\u2019euros en 2014, puis 31 millions en 2015 et 38,5 millions en 2016. L\u2019exc\u00e9dent brut d\u2019exploitation, nul l\u2019an pass\u00e9 (-0,1 million), passerait dans le vert cette ann\u00e9e (+0,6 million) puis se hisserait \u00e0 4,9 millions en 2016. Sur ces bases, Invest Securities estime Viadeo France \u00e0 90 millions d\u2019euros (9 euros par action).<\/p>\n<p>VIADEO : Viadeo, une valeur massacr\u00e9e, un pari \u00e0 prendre<\/p>\n<p>16\/01\/15 \u00e0 13:39 &#8211; Investir.fr 0 Commentaire(s)<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9seau social, introduit en Bourse \u00e0 17,1 euros, ne vaut plus que 4 euros. Plusieurs annonces pourraient enclencher un rebond cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9seau social professionnel n\u2019en finit plus de chuter, avec une glissade de 35% ces cinq derniers jours et de 76% depuis l\u2019introduction en Bourse \u00e0 17,1 euro il y a six mois. Des actionnaires historiques maintenant lib\u00e9r\u00e9s de leur engagement de conservation p\u00e8sent sans doute sur le march\u00e9.\u00a0L\u2019ouverture du capital de la filiale chinoise Tianji pourrait faciliter un rebond, en montrant sa valeur malgr\u00e9 ses pertes.
