Il y a peu, je me suis rendu dans les locaux d\u2019une start-up de la r\u00e9gion parisienne, <\/i><a style=\"font-style: italic;\" href=\"https:\/\/shoppingfeed.com\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shopping Flux<\/a><i>, afin de mieux comprendre l\u2019historique et l\u2019\u00e9volution de l\u2019e-commerce. Je n\u2019ai pas regrett\u00e9 mon voyage car en effet, j\u2019ai appris beaucoup de choses sur l\u2019\u00e9volution du e-commerce en <\/i><a style=\"font-style: italic;\" title=\"France\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=48.8566666667,2.35083333333&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=48.8566666667,2.35083333333 (France)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">France<\/a><i> et dans le monde. D\u2019une part la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 de l\u2019Europe et notamment de la France avec sa myriade de petits e-commer\u00e7ants (quiconque est all\u00e9 \u00e0 <\/i><a style=\"font-style: italic;\" title=\"Ne pas confondre engagement des clients et engagement sur Facebook !\" href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2014\/03\/les-trois-leviers-pour-ameliorer-lengagement-de-vos-cyber-clients\/\">e-commerce One to One, le superbe \u00e9v\u00e9nement d\u2019Ingrid Fillon Comexposium \u00e0 Monaco sait la richesse de cet \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me<\/a><i>). Comme quoi, \u00eatre diff\u00e9rent des am\u00e9ricains n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment un d\u00e9savantage ! Interview avec <span title=\"http:\/\/fr.linkedin.com\/in\/levyolivier\">Olivier L\u00e9vy, le patron de Shopping Flux<\/span><\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Revenons d&rsquo;abord sur l&rsquo;historique du e-commerce avec une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s forte de la France. Pouvez-vous nous raconter cette histoire des places de march\u00e9 en France ?<\/h3>\n<figure style=\"width: 190px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left;\" title=\"NewImage.png\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/NewImage.png\" alt=\"NewImage\" width=\"190\" height=\"190\" border=\"0\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Olivier L\u00e9vy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>L\u2019histoire des places de march\u00e9 en France est particuli\u00e8re, par rapport notamment aux pays anglo-saxons. Les mastodontes comme Amazon ou eBay se sont d&rsquo;abord attaqu\u00e9s au march\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain puis ensuite au march\u00e9 anglophone. Bon an mal an les ann\u00e9es passent, et ils ont eu du mal \u00e0 s&rsquo;attaquer \u00e0 un march\u00e9 comme le n\u00f4tre. Du coup, en France des gros mastodontes ont mis du temps \u00e0 \u00e9merger. On a aujourd&rsquo;hui des leaders comme iBazar qui s&rsquo;est fait racheter ensuite par eBay, et PriceMinister qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9 par <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Rakuten\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/RakutenGlobal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"twitter noopener noreferrer\">Rakuten<\/a>. Ces places de march\u00e9 ont finalement copi\u00e9 le mod\u00e8le Amazon et eBay. Il y a aussi de gros sites e-commerce comme <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.rueducommerce.fr\/\">Rueducommerce<\/span>, <a title=\"C Discount\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cdiscount.com\/\">Cdiscount<\/a>, <a title=\"Mr Good Deal\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mistergooddeal.com\/\">Mr Good Deal<\/a> &#8230; qui ont eu le temps d&rsquo;\u00e9merger parce qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas eu le bulldozer Amazon assez rapidement sur ce march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais. Cette sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 fait que le march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais est plus \u00e9clat\u00e9 pour ce qui concerne les places de march\u00e9 et les sites e-commerce que le march\u00e9 anglo-saxons.<\/p>\n<p>La France est un des rares pays o\u00f9 Amazon n&rsquo;a pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 faire la police dans l&rsquo;e-commerce<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Le march\u00e9 de la gestion de flux pour e-commerce, une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise<\/h3>\n<p>Notre m\u00e9tier est de connecter le site e-commerce aux places de march\u00e9, g\u00e9rer leurs stocks automatiquement, g\u00e9rer leurs prix, et m\u00eame g\u00e9rer leur offre produit automatiquement depuis leur site sur les places de march\u00e9. Quand sur un march\u00e9 anglo-saxon il y a uniquement <a title=\"Amazon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.fr\/\">Amazon <\/a>et <a title=\"eBay\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ebay.fr\/\">eBay<\/a>, on a moins besoin de multiples formats et donc, le march\u00e9 est moins d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 dans les pays comme les <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667 (United%20States)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">\u00c9tats-Unis<\/a>, alors qu&rsquo;en France cela fait tr\u00e8s longtemps que l&rsquo;on a besoin de telles plate-formes de gestion de flux comme la n\u00f4tre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cdiscount devant Amazon en France, en\u00a0attendant la Redoute<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CDiscount d\u00e9passe m\u00eame Amazon, sur la plate-forme shopping flux<\/strong>. Sur cette plate-forme shopping flux, Amazon \u00e9tait grand leader et pouvait faire 4 fois plus de ventes que les autres marchands. Aujourd&rsquo;hui il se fait rattraper par Cdiscount qui est pass\u00e9 devant et bient\u00f4t par la Redoute.<\/p>\n<p>Cdiscount va s&rsquo;attaquer plut\u00f4t \u00e0 des acheteurs qui recherchent des prix des prix bas, la Redoute s\u2019appuie sur sa notori\u00e9t\u00e9 et sur sa confiance ; ce ne sont pas du tous les m\u00eames marchands. Par exemple, \u00a0sur Cdiscount, les acheteurs pensent que le prix y est le plus bas, donc ils ach\u00e8tent tr\u00e8s rapidement. Sur la Redoute, le client va acheter tr\u00e8s rapidement aussi, par contre on observe un comportement tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent: les acheteurs du<a title=\"VPC\" href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vente_par_correspondance\"> VPCiste<\/a> sont en effet capables d&rsquo;acheter 3 ou 4 tailles diff\u00e9rentes d&rsquo;un m\u00eame produit chez le marchand et se\u00a0faire livrer, puis renvoyer aux marchands les 3 tailles de chaussures qui ne conviennent pas. Car la Redoute a donn\u00e9 des habitudes \u00e0 ses clients, que ceux-ci ont gard\u00e9 sur Internet.<\/p>\n<p>La <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fnac.com\/\">Fnac<\/span> quant \u00e0 eux ont un peu plus de mal \u00e0 \u00e9merger car leur m\u00e9tier historique est le culturel o\u00f9 ils sont en concurrence frontale avec Amazon, et m\u00eame si le souhait de la Fnac \u00e9tait de d\u00e9velopper le num\u00e9rique, on sent bien qu\u2019ils ont eu \u00e0 subir des freins en interne.<\/p>\n<h3>Le rang des places de march\u00e9 sur le march\u00e9 du e-commerce<\/h3>\n<p>Les marchands font environ 1\/3 de leurs ventes sur leur site e-commerce ils vont faire un autre tiers gr\u00e2ce au comparateurs de prix (Google shopping, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Kelkoo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kelkoo.fr\/?kpartnerid=96954657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Kelkoo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leguide.com\/\">leguide.com<\/a>) et le dernier tiers sur les places de march\u00e9. <strong>Et c&rsquo;est ce tiers-l\u00e0 qui est en forte augmentation. Je ne serais pas \u00e9tonn\u00e9 si dans un an la moiti\u00e9 du chiffre d&rsquo;affaires des marchands \u00e9tait g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 sur les places de march\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Le coup de tonnerre de l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de Google shopping<\/h3>\n<p>En 2010-2011 les comparateurs de prix historiques comme <a title=\"Kelkoo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kelkoo.fr\/\">Kelkoo<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leguide.com\/\">leguide.com<\/a>, et\u00a0<a title=\"Shopping.com\" href=\"https:\/\/fr.shopping.com\/\">shopping.com <\/a>ont vu leur <a title=\"R\u00e9f\u00e9rencement naturel\" href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/R%C3%A9f%C3%A9rencement\">r\u00e9f\u00e9rencement naturel<\/a> chuter brutalement. Or, Google \u00e9tait leur principal apporteur de trafic. Quelque temps apr\u00e8s est venue l\u2019annonce du lancement de Google shopping. Google a donc \u00ab\u00a0fait le m\u00e9nage\u00a0\u00bb pour mieux s\u2019imposer par la suite avec son comparateur de prix. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait un coup de tonnerre et en m\u00eame temps cela a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s comme la n\u00f4tre car on a eu besoin de gestionnaire de flux. En revanche, les comparateurs historiques n\u2019ont appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 que moyennement l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de ce nouvel entrant sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>L&rsquo;Amazon du futur sera-t-il Google ?<\/h3>\n<p>En effet ! Pour Google, le principal concurrent n&rsquo;est pas Facebook c&rsquo;est Amazon !<\/p>\n<h3>Une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise qui n&rsquo;est pas un handicap<\/h3>\n<p>Nous consid\u00e9rons cette sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 comme un avantage qui va \u00eatre de plus en plus fort dans le temps dans le sens o\u00f9 Amazon, pour s&rsquo;imposer en France, doit faire face \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres mastodontes comme Cdiscount ou la Redoute ou \u00a0<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Pixmania\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20201003154733\/https:\/\/www.pixmania.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Pixmania<\/a>. Sur les march\u00e9s anglo-saxons, il va y avoir uniquement\u00a0eBay. Cette sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 historique de la France fait que, encore aujourd&rsquo;hui, et bien qu&rsquo;Amazon soit tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sent en France, il n&rsquo;arrive pas \u00e0 s&rsquo;imposer d\u00e9finitivement sur le march\u00e9 comme sur le march\u00e9 allemand ou il a \u00e9cras\u00e9 tous ses concurrents.<\/p>\n<h3>Les int\u00e9grateurs de flux am\u00e9ricains se sont cass\u00e9s les dents sur la France<\/h3>\n<p>Ils se sont cass\u00e9s les dents en effet. Le leader am\u00e9ricain c\u2019est \u00a0Channel Advisor, et ils se sont cass\u00e9s les dents \u00e0 cause de cette sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise. Ils sont arriv\u00e9s avec leur technologie anglo-saxonne qui permettait de se connecter \u00e0 eBay et Amazon, en simplifiant un peu, mais\u00a0cela ne suffisait pas.<\/p>\n<p>Il a fallu \u00e9galement se raccorder \u00e0 toutes les autres places de march\u00e9 et cela fait beaucoup de technique, beaucoup de R&amp;D, \u00e7a prend du temps et pendant ce temps-l\u00e0 ils n&rsquo;arrivaient pas \u00e0 engranger des clients. Il semblerait en 2014 qu&rsquo;ils aient abandonn\u00e9 le march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais. Ils sont pourtant tr\u00e8s forts en Allemagne et en Angleterre. On est v\u00e9ritablement dans une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n<h3>Une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise qui permet d&rsquo;attaquer maintenant le march\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain<\/h3>\n<p>Nous nous sommes dit que si Channel Advisor pouvait s&rsquo;attaquer au march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais, nous pouvions r\u00e9pliquer chez eux. Quand on attaque un march\u00e9, il faut s&rsquo;attendre \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il y ait une r\u00e9ponse. Nous y allons avec humilit\u00e9 car Channel Advisor est tr\u00e8s puissant aux \u00c9tats-Unis, ils sont m\u00eame cot\u00e9s en Bourse. Mais nous pensons que nous avons nos chances en s&rsquo;attaquant \u00e0 ce march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>Le portrait-robot du client d&rsquo;agr\u00e9gateur de flux<\/h3>\n<p>Nous sommes vraiment dans les petits et moyens e-commer\u00e7ants. Ce sont des sites que nous affectionnons particuli\u00e8rement.
