Nous ne sommes pas dans une logique d\u2019espionner, mais plus de suivre pour analyser et optimiser<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\">Quel est<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\"> l\u2019enjeu du web gratuit \u202fpar rapport \u00e0 cette logique de <\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\">tracking<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\">?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les sites gratuits, par exemple les sites \u00e9ditoriaux, doivent avoir un mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique pour continuer \u00e0 exister\u202f: aujourd\u2019hui c\u2019est la publicit\u00e9. Dans ce cas de figure, les annonceurs doivent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un retour sur investissement, d\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019importance du tracking\u00a0 qui se faisait auparavant par les cookies, et aujourd\u2019hui par le fingerprinting.<\/p>\n<p>Cela permet d\u2019analyser cette efficacit\u00e9 et, \u00e0 terme, rassurer les investisseurs. Au final tout le monde y gagne, car l\u2019\u00e9diteur est r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9 et le visiteur a acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un contenu gratuit.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JMARKdaNV6s\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Et si on veut supprimer le cookie ou le<\/strong><strong> fingerprinting<\/strong><strong>\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Si on supprime la publicit\u00e9, les sites \u00e9ditoriaux n\u2019ont plus les moyens de gagner de l\u2019argent et vont devenir payants\u2026 Si on est contre les cookies et contre la publicit\u00e9, on d\u00e9truit ce syst\u00e8me \u00e9conomique\u202f: il faudra alors accepter de payer le service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aujourd\u2019hui, il y a une <\/strong><strong>multiplicit\u00e9<\/strong><strong> d\u2019appareils connect\u00e9s qui freinent l\u2019usage du cookie<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Il y a eu plusieurs \u00e9tapes\u202f: tout d\u2019abord, les navigateurs classiques (<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Safari (web browser)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Safari_%28web_browser%29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener wikipedia noreferrer\">Safari<\/a>) ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 bloquer les cookies tiers (et d&rsquo;autres l&rsquo;envisagent, \u00e0 l&rsquo;image de Firefox), emp\u00eachant de suivre l\u2019utilisateur. Ce dernier devenait ainsi difficile \u00e0 suivre uniquement en ayant recours au cookie, et les nouveaux devices n\u2019avaient pas tous un fonctionnement par cookie (les objets connect\u00e9s n\u2019en ont pas du tout). Il fallait alors trouver un autre moyen de suivre les utilisateurs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>On trouve essentiellement <\/strong><strong>le fingerprinting <\/strong><strong>aux \u00c9tats-Unis, que se passe-t-il en Europe\u202f?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Les \u00c9tats-Unis sont les premiers utilisateurs de la m\u00e9thodologie du fingerprint. Effiliation a lanc\u00e9 cette solution de tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 en 2013. Depuis, quelques concurrents se sont lanc\u00e9s dans le fingerprinting. On voit aujourd\u2019hui de plus en plus d\u2019actions de suivi bas\u00e9es sur cette technologie car c\u2019est un moyen d\u2019\u00eatre ind\u00e9pendant des fabricants qui abandonnent l\u2019utilisation des cookies sur leurs produits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ce dispositif <\/strong><strong>n\u2019est pas un <\/strong><strong>moyen<\/strong><strong> de passer outre la r\u00e8glementation europ\u00e9enne.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est juste un outil technique, un moyen de continuer \u00e0 pouvoir suivre, et ne va pas \u00e0 l\u2019encontre des lois europ\u00e9ennes et fran\u00e7aises concernant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et le respect de la vie priv\u00e9e sur internet.
