Les apports potentiels de ce rapprochement sont tr\u00e8s importants pour les utilisateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Salesforce est le n\u00b01 des solutions CRM (selon Gartner CRM 2013, avec un revenu de 3.3 Mds$) et l\u2019int\u00e9gration aux outils bureautiques est un must-have pour les utilisateurs en entreprise. Selon le Gartner, Microsoft est le premier \u00e9diteur de solutions d\u2019entreprise, quand Salesforce est \u00ab\u00a0seulement\u00a0\u00bb 10\u00e8me. Par contre, sur le segment du CRM, Salesforce est 1er quand Microsoft est 4\u00e8me <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Read More...\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" alt=\"\" data-wp-more=\"\" data-mce-resize=\"false\" data-mce-placeholder=\"1\" \/> De plus, ces deux g\u00e9ants se sont livr\u00e9s derni\u00e8rement de belles batailles sur les brevets. Microsoft avait ainsi attaqu\u00e9 Salesforce en mai 2010 pour violation de brevets autour du CRM dans le cloud et le second avait r\u00e9pliqu\u00e9 un mois plus tard autour de fonctionnalit\u00e9s embarqu\u00e9es sur les plateformes .NET et <a title=\"Microsoft SharePoint\" href=\"http:\/\/sharepoint.microsoft.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">SharePoint<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, Salesforce avait annonc\u00e9 il y a pratiquement un an un partenariat technologique sur le cloud computing avec Oracle, le grand rival de Microsoft sur les solutions d\u2019entreprise. Les analystes s\u2019accordent \u00e0 dire que ce partenariat ne s\u2019est pour l\u2019instant pas traduit en r\u00e9alisations concr\u00e8tes. Dans ce contexte, il est heureux de constater que les int\u00e9r\u00eats business (ou celui des utilisateurs, c\u2019est selon) sont les plus forts et auront permis \u00e0 nos deux protagonistes Microsoft et Salesforce d\u2019enterrer la hache de guerre et d\u2019emprunter le chemin de la collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gagnant-gagnant, vraiment\u00a0?<\/strong> Cet accord semble \u00eatre \u00e0 premi\u00e8re vue gagnant-gagnant et pouvoir profiter aux deux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s. Pour Salesforce, il va permettre une meilleure int\u00e9gration de ses solutions sur le standard du march\u00e9 ainsi que le d\u00e9veloppement de fonctionnalit\u00e9s ch\u00e8res aux yeux de ses utilisateurs. Autant d\u2019arguments de vente permettant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9diteur \u00e0 l\u2019app\u00e9tit gargantuesque d\u2019\u00e9tendre encore ses ambitions commerciales.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Microsoft, ce partenariat va lui permettre d\u2019\u00e9tendre son rayon d\u2019influence et la diffusion de ses nouvelles solutions mobiles et cloud. C\u2019est un enjeu fort car sur ce front, Microsoft joue gros, avec des concurrents de taille tels que Google ou Amazon. Rappelons \u00e0 ce titre que <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Satya_Nadella\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Satya Nadella<\/a>, r\u00e9cemment nomm\u00e9 CEO de Microsoft, redouble d\u2019actions pour accompagner la transformation de l\u2019entreprise en tentant de la faire passer d\u2019un mode \u00ab\u00a0vendeur de logiciels\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 un mode \u00ab\u00a0vendeur de solutions et services dans le cloud\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Cela dit, cet accord pose question quant \u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie de Microsoft sur le segment du CRM. L\u2019\u00e9diteur tente depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es d\u2019imposer plus fortement sur le march\u00e9 sa solution \u00ab\u00a0Dynamics CRM\u00a0\u00bb. Cette suite logicielle, disponible en version traditionnelle \u00ab\u00a0on-premises \u00bb ou dans le cloud est clairement taill\u00e9e pour rivaliser avec Salesforce.<\/p>\n<p>Alli\u00e9e aux avantages de sa plateforme cloud Azure, et avec la force marketing de Microsoft, la solution s\u2019est r\u00e9pandue rapidement et son expansion se poursuit de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9guli\u00e8re. Un des principaux arguments de vente de cette solution est bien \u00e9videmment l\u2019int\u00e9gration native avec les autres produits de la gamme Microsoft et en tout premier lieu \u00e0 la suite bureautique Office. Collaborer avec Salesforce sur ce domaine risque donc d\u2019affaiblir cet argument dans les mois qui viennent.
