La bonne vieille \u201cg\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y\u201d, pourtant impossible \u00e0 d\u00e9finir, revient toujours dans les discours, quoiqu&rsquo;on fasse. (\u00e0 condition de savoir qui est cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y bien-s\u00fbr !) &#8211; photo <a href=\"http:\/\/antimuseum.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">antimuseum.com<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y : anecdotes contre statistiques<\/h3>\n<p>\u00ab A chaque fois qu\u2019on est confront\u00e9 aux digital natives, on a droit \u00e0 des anecdotes \u00bb dit en substance, le professeur Casilli.<\/p>\n<p>Or, le probl\u00e8me des anecdotes, pour sympathiques qu\u2019elles soient, est qu\u2019elles agissent comme des preuves alors qu\u2019elles n\u2019en contiennent pas. Elles sont, en effet, toujours orient\u00e9es vers le particulier.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cas de l\u2019anecdote cit\u00e9e au d\u00e9but de la vid\u00e9o, il y a par exemple un m\u00e9lange entre apprentissage en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et expertise informatique (ici l\u2019apprentissage scolaire linguistique).<\/p>\n<h3>Donn\u00e9es existantes<\/h3>\n<p>Un nombre consid\u00e9rable d\u2019\u00e9tudes a \u00e9t\u00e9 rassembl\u00e9 depuis 2007. Elles montrent que quand on regarde les statistiques, les digital natives n\u2019existent pas. Regardez aussi le travail du <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/fr\/2019\/05\/agisme-generation-y\/\">professeur Folon<\/a>. Ajoutons plut\u00f4t qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration stratifi\u00e9e d\u2019un point de vue social.<\/p>\n<p>Sch\u00e9matiquement, le professeur Casilli fait remarquer que l\u2019on peut dire que les moins favoris\u00e9s ont un usage plus utilitaire des nouvelles technologies. Les plus ais\u00e9s, un usage davantage exploratoire.<\/p>\n<p>Dans chaque g\u00e9n\u00e9ration il y a des stratifications et ce n\u2019est pas une question de comp\u00e9tence informatique, souligne le professeur Casilli. En l\u2019occurrence les plus d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s ne sont pas moins dou\u00e9s en informatique.<\/p>\n<p>En conclusion, \u00ab on ne peut pas dissocier g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, usage et socialit\u00e9, et d\u2019autre part, les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations sont \u00e0 voir comme une pluralit\u00e9 d\u2019acteurs. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h3><!--more-->Historicit\u00e9 du concept de digital native<\/h3>\n<p>D\u00e8s 2001, ces \u00ab digital natives \u00bb (terme invent\u00e9 par <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Marc Prensky\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20201106232710\/https:\/\/marcprensky.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Marc Prensky<\/a>) font partie de la litt\u00e9rature de management. Or, dans les ann\u00e9es 90, on a eu les \u00ab Internet Children \u00bb et dans les ann\u00e9es 80, les \u00ab computer kids \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Ces d\u00e9nominations ont co\u00efncid\u00e9 avec l\u2019av\u00e8nement des diff\u00e9rentes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations d\u2019ordinateurs. On a donc, au fur et \u00e0 mesure du temps, imagin\u00e9 que les jeunes avaient une pr\u00e9disposition naturelle \u00e0 l\u2019usage des ordinateurs. Peut-\u00eatre est-ce d\u00fb au fait que les premiers ordinateurs ciblaient les jeunes populations et qu\u2019il fallait faire coller la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e0 la l\u00e9gende.<\/p>\n<p>Si les digital natives existaient bel et bien, pr\u00e9cise le professeur Casilli avec fac\u00e9tie, \u00ab ils existent donc depuis 20 ou 30 ans ! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>On ne peut donc se limiter \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2000, les fameux \u00ab millenials \u00bb. \u00ab Si je dois me consid\u00e9rer moi-m\u00eame, \u00e0 40 ans, comme un <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Digital native\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Digital_native\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">digital native<\/a>, cela n\u2019a donc plus de sens \u00bb a conclu le professeur Casilli avec humour.<\/p>\n<p>Mais comme le fait remarquer fort justement Estelle Bouilli\u00e8rce, le probl\u00e8me de base vient de la d\u00e9finition elle-m\u00eame du \u00ab digital native \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Un classique des mythes o\u00f9 on s&rsquo;attache plus aux apparences qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion sur la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y<\/h3>\n<p>Hercule peut ex\u00e9cuter tous les travaux d\u2019Eurysth\u00e9e car il est un \u00ab demi-dieu \u00bb par exemple. Cette d\u00e9finition de base, l\u2019\u00eatre sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 l\u2019homme et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieur au Dieu, rend possible les exploits surhumains du h\u00e9ros mythologique.<\/p>\n<p>Il en va de m\u00eame de nos \u00ab digital natives \u00bb.
