Parler de la technologie qui change le monde sans parler de technologie, voil\u00e0 le pari, tr\u00e8s r\u00e9ussi, de cette 2e \u00e9dition de l&rsquo;initiative de <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20220126023030\/https:\/\/ginisty.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Christophe Ginisty<\/a> et de son \u00e9quipe. Voici mon compte rendu (qui s&rsquo;arr\u00eate malheureusement en milieu d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi). Media aces est fier d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 un des partenaires de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement :<\/i><\/p>\n<h2><b>Sur Internet et ailleurs, foule sentimentale et soif d\u2019id\u00e9al<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a title=\"Le h\u00e9raut (town Crier) Appleton\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/45208593@N00\/11997860343\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left; margin: 0px 10px 0px 0px; display: inline;\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/static.flickr.com\/2860\/11997860343_125acaf5c3.jpg\" alt=\"antimuseum.com-untitled-4366\" width=\"200\" height=\"299\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>\u2026 disait la chanson. Car tel \u00e9tait le th\u00e8me de cette conf\u00e9rence, aux invit\u00e9s prestigieux, dans un lieu non moins extraordinaire (le <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Vari\u00e9t\u00e9s\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=48.8711111111,2.34194444444&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=48.8711111111,2.34194444444 (Th%C3%A9%C3%A2tre%20des%20Vari%C3%A9t%C3%A9s)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">th\u00e9\u00e2tre des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s<\/a> \u00e0 Paris) ; ces foules qui ne seraient plus intelligentes comme le pr\u00e9tendait <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Howard Rheingold\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rheingold.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Howard Rheingold<\/a>, mais surtout \u00e9motives. Ces foules et cette \u00e9motivit\u00e9 sont cependant \u00e0 double face :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>C\u00f4t\u00e9 pile, \u00e9motivit\u00e9 et sentiments renvoient \u00e0 cet id\u00e9al de la chanson, une sorte de monde o\u00f9 tout est possible, moins \u00e9loign\u00e9 de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu&rsquo;on le pense ; un monde capable de communier autour de la naissance d&rsquo;un futur vrai roi annonc\u00e9 par un vrai-faux h\u00e9raut (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tony_Appleton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">le vrai-faux \u00ab town-crier \u00bb Tony Appleton<\/a>, photo \u00e0 gauche) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/lifestyle\/celebrity\/town-crier-tony-appleton-delivers-news-of-a-future-king-20130723-2qfrz.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">propuls\u00e9 au sommet de la gloire mondiale par les m\u00e9dias<\/a> et Internet et invit\u00e9 surprise de la conf\u00e9rence pour en d\u00e9clarer l&rsquo;ouverture officiellement sur sc\u00e8ne. \u00ab Oyez, Oyez bonnes gens ! \u00bb<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/image.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; float: right; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 10px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/image_thumb.png\" alt=\"image\" width=\"154\" height=\"184\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>C\u00f4t\u00e9 face, l\u2019\u00e9motivit\u00e9 et les mauvais sentiments qui obscurcissent la pens\u00e9e, laissent accroire que le vraisemblable est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable au vrai, que la qualit\u00e9 per\u00e7ue est meilleure que la qualit\u00e9 produite, ou qui m\u00e8nent carr\u00e9ment au lynchage, notamment sur Internet, par des \u00ab clients transform\u00e9s en soldats \u00bb (Julien Villeret, SFR) de la consommation. <a href=\"http:\/\/voir.ca\/societe\/2006\/12\/07\/gilles-lipovetsky-la-societe-dhyperconsommation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Une consommation qui aurait (ou a peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9j\u00e0) remplac\u00e9 les id\u00e9ologies dans un monde o\u00f9 l\u2019acte de d\u00e9penser est moyen de d\u00e9-penser<\/a> ; j\u2019entends bien ici et l\u00e0 l\u2019expression \u00ab consommer les m\u00e9dias \u00bb \u2026 voil\u00e0 qui est r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Croyances, r\u00e9alit\u00e9 et limite de la communication<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ce combat entre les \u00ab bons et les mauvais \u00bb sentiments \u00e9tait d&rsquo;ailleurs au c\u0153ur de la pr\u00e9sentation Hisham Zaazou, ministre du tourisme de l\u2019<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Egypt\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=30.0333333333,31.2166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=30.0333333333,31.2166666667 (Egypt)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">\u00c9gypte<\/a> depuis 2012. Un homme courageux qui n&rsquo;a pas h\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 remettre sa d\u00e9mission quand un homme politique li\u00e9 \u00e0 la Jama Al Islamya allait \u00eatre nomm\u00e9 gouverneur de Louxor, un lieu endeuill\u00e9 par un attentat de 97, perp\u00e9tr\u00e9 par le m\u00eame groupe islamiste. Moi qui pensais que le pays avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 atteint les limites du raisonnable en 2000 !<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"antimuseum.com-untitled-4388\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/45208593@N00\/11997889003\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: none; margin: 10px auto; display: block;\" src=\"https:\/\/static.flickr.com\/7322\/11997889003_6cf2e144e8.jpg\" alt=\"antimuseum.com-untitled-4388\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><em><span style=\"color: #4f81bd;\">Hisham Zaazou recevant le prix de <\/span><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipra.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><span style=\"color: #4f81bd;\">l\u2019IPRA<\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span style=\"color: #4f81bd;\"> des mains de son pr\u00e9sident, Christophe Ginisty, \u00e9galement cr\u00e9ateur et organisateur de Reputation War<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Monsieur le ministre s&rsquo;est lanc\u00e9 dans un plaidoyer passionn\u00e9 pour nous convaincre, film \u00e0 l&rsquo;appui, que l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte est un endroit s\u00fbr. Preuve absolue : les rangs de touristes en string en train de se faire griller au soleil \u00e0 <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Sharm el-Sheikh\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=27.9122222222,34.3297222222&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=27.9122222222,34.3297222222 (Sharm%20el-Sheikh)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">Sharm El Sheik<\/a>, pas si loin, somme toute d\u2019une des r\u00e9gions r\u00e9put\u00e9e les plus dangereuses du monde. Ayant v\u00e9cu au Liban, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 frapp\u00e9 de constater comment les pays en guerre, et les pays arabes en particulier, relativisent ce danger, car les foules \u00ab sentimentales \u00bb s\u2019habituent \u00e0 toutes les situations, m\u00eame les plus insoutenables.<\/p>\n<p>Tout le monde n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 convaincu. M\u00eame si certains reportages en arabe, pour ceux qui parlent cette langue, ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.theblaze.com\/stories\/2013\/08\/20\/on-week-of-u-s-launch-embarrassing-video-surfaces-showing-al-jazeera-airing-apparently-fake-protester-footage\/\">certains reportages t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s faisaient prendre des vessies pour des lanternes ; mensonges que la compr\u00e9hension de la langue permettait de d\u00e9crypter selon M. Zaazou<\/span>. Les croyances sont dures \u00e0 combattre. G\u00e9rald Bronner (<a href=\"http:\/\/assr.revues.org\/2407\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">l&#8217;empire des croyances, PUF, 2003<\/span><\/a>) l\u2019a rappel\u00e9 dans un film enregistr\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement pour la conf\u00e9rence. Ne pas se forger une opinion avant d&rsquo;avoir pes\u00e9 le pour et le contre\u2026 comment faire \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure de l&rsquo;Internet quand tout va si vite ? Avec <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hoaxbuster.com\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Hoaxbuster<\/span><\/a> bien entendu ! Le site indispensable de <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Guillaume_HB\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Guillaume Brossard<\/span><\/a> (photo \u00e0 gauche), qui d\u00e9code les rumeurs du Web depuis 1999. Un site dont je suis un inconditionnel depuis le d\u00e9but. Guillaume et ses b\u00e9n\u00e9voles font un travail formidable de d\u00e9frichage et d&rsquo;explications. Un scoop qu\u2019il nous a donn\u00e9 sur sc\u00e8ne : l&rsquo;affaire <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Julie Gayet\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Julie_Gayet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">Julie Gayet<\/a> \u00e9tait \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tat de rumeurs sur le site depuis des mois para\u00eet-il\u2026 <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Avant\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/avantmusic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"twitter noopener noreferrer\">Avant<\/a> d&rsquo;\u00eatre rendu public dans les m\u00e9dias. l&rsquo;<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"\u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=48.8702777778,2.31638888889&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=48.8702777778,2.31638888889 (%C3%89lys%C3%A9e%20Palace)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">\u00c9lys\u00e9e<\/a> a essay\u00e9 de faire \u00ab dispara\u00eetre la question \u00bb par le truchement de ses avocats. Car il y a encore des gens qui croient pouvoir effacer l&rsquo;Internet ! Quel choc de voir qu&rsquo;ils sont au gouvernement d&rsquo;un pays qui se dit mod\u00e8le des d\u00e9mocraties (et je ne parle pas de la b\u00eatise de la demande).<\/p>\n<p><b>Faire plus confiance aux rumeurs qu\u2019aux m\u00e9dias ?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Bruno Jeanbart (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bjeanbart\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">@bjeanbart<\/span><\/a>), DGA d\u2019opinionway est venu ensuite partager son barom\u00e8tre sur la confiance des m\u00e9dias ; une sorte de thermom\u00e8tre en baisse constante qui donne le vertige. Seulement 23 % des Fran\u00e7ais feraient confiance aux m\u00e9dias et \u00ab seuls les politiques font pire \u00bb (14 %). Je ne sais quoi penser. Faut-il se lamenter de la qualit\u00e9 de nos journalistes et de nos hommes politiques (selon la rumeur justement, \u00ab <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slate.fr\/story\/78844\/france-possede-etat-le-plus-bete-du-monde\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">les plus b\u00eates du monde<\/span><\/a> \u00bb), ou sur la b\u00eatise d&rsquo;une \u00ab foule sentimentale \u00bb qui goberait la rumeur \u00e0 environ 50 %, m\u00eame si 87 % la croient infond\u00e9e. \u00ab Il n&rsquo;y a pas de fum\u00e9e sans feu \u00bb\u2026 semble \u00eatre la devise de cette foule sentimentale peut-\u00eatre, mais pas tr\u00e8s sympathique.<\/p>\n<p><b>M\u00e9dias de masse, culture de masse, b\u00eatise de masse ?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Triste \u00e9poque me direz-vous, o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9ducation g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e n&rsquo;a pas fait dispara\u00eetre l&rsquo;obscurantisme. Mais dans ce monde d&rsquo;exc\u00e8s o\u00f9 nous vivons, o\u00f9 la masse a remplac\u00e9 les castes, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar de ces masses populaires entass\u00e9es sur d\u2019immenses paquebots du Nil, d\u00e9laiss\u00e9s quelque peu aujourd&rsquo;hui, qui ont remplac\u00e9 les riches aristocrates britanniques d\u00e9couvreurs de tombes, peut-on s&rsquo;\u00e9tonner de ce r\u00e9sultat ?<\/p>\n<p><b>Masse lyncheuse\u2026 et sauveuse aussi<\/b><\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame constatation et Philippe Spanghero (@pspanghero) et Julien Villeret (SFR), tous deux victimes de lynchages sur Internet. L&rsquo;ancien rugbyman, expert de la communication sportive, a su utiliser les m\u00e9dias sociaux pour r\u00e9tablir la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et d\u00e9fendre l&rsquo;honneur de sa famille, plac\u00e9e involontairement au c\u0153ur du scandale qui portait son nom, alors que son application dans l\u2019entreprise avait cess\u00e9 4 ans auparavant. Il y a de l&rsquo;espoir donc, de voir les utilisateurs des m\u00e9dias sociaux prendre la d\u00e9fense de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Ouf ! Comment les op\u00e9rateurs \u00e9tablis sur ce march\u00e9 vont faire face sur un march\u00e9 \u00ab o\u00f9 les prix sont d\u00e9sormais les plus bas du monde \u00bb et o\u00f9 on se fait traiter de \u00ab fils de p&#8230; \u00bb sans vraiment pouvoir r\u00e9agir, nous para\u00eet beaucoup moins clair.
