Senard &#8211; Audencia<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nWith Internet, businesses have to navigate their way through this plethora of sites and social networks.\u00a0For\u00a0<strong>Anne Launois,<\/strong>\u00a0the new key to success in marketing is the process that puts the user at the heart of everything.\u00a0&#8220;<em>Digital has revolutionized the marketing approach.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Nowadays, the customer expects added value from companies.<\/em>\u00a0<em>To deliver on customer expectations, marketers develop content which facilitates relationship building with the consumer, and hopefully, ends with a sale.<\/em>\u00a0<em>By putting the customer back at the heart of the process, enables the company to gain an overview of the customer journey.<\/em>&#8221;<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>P<\/strong>roject, <strong>P<\/strong>latform, <strong>P<\/strong>artnership and <strong>P<\/strong>rogress: 4 New Ps of Marketing<\/h2>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_8933\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8933\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/yann-gourvennec-c-patrick-jackson-200x300.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8933 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/yann-gourvennec-c-patrick-jackson-200x300-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"Product, Placement\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8933\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(c) Patrick Jackson<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nThe Internet has allowed the evolution of new points of contact with potential customers.\u00a0For\u00a0<strong>Yann Gourvennec<\/strong>, these multiple channels have brought out 4 new Ps in marketing: <strong>P<\/strong>roject, <strong>P<\/strong>latform, <strong>P<\/strong>artnership and <strong>P<\/strong>rogress. &#8220;<em>Before arriving on the net, you have to define a good plan and decide whether you want to use a website as a support for physical sales or improve online sales or raise awareness on the web. Then comes the question of the Platform: should I launch my own site or opt for hosting on a marketplace like Amazon or eBay?<\/em>\u00a0<em>Then you have to think about partnerships.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Finally, there is Progression or &#8220;growth hacking&#8221; to generate traffic.<\/em>\u00a0<em>To do this, the most effective method remains that of word of mouth, whereby you attract a preliminary bunch of people (seeding), to subsequently attract others who will spread the word around them (feeding).&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>The fifth P: (Digital)<strong>\u00a0P<\/strong>romotion<\/h3>\n<p>The P of\u00a0<em>Promotion <\/em><em>takes a new meaning in the digital era: it\u2019s<\/em> an essential e-commerce dimension, which passes through content marketing.\u00a0&#8220;<em>The inbound marketing process consists of offering editorial content to its audience.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Instead of promoting the solution, we end up promoting the problem or the subject.<\/em>\u00a0<em>This technique generates a large flow of interested parties who will eventually become potential buyers.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Content marketing is becoming the most significant part of marketers\u2019 budgets.<\/em>&#8221; explains Yann Gourvennec.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Digital Marketing: A job in its own right<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To face the challenge of digital, marketers must also choose the best possible communication channels, including social networks.\u00a0&#8221;\u00a0<em>You have to opt for the networks that are most suitable to and coherent with your business.<\/em>\u00a0<em>A home decor brand for example, will find more interest to be present on photo sharing networks like Pinterest and Instagram, where it can do viral marketing.<\/em>\u00a0<em>All brands, regardless of their nature of operation, maintain an active presence on Facebook.<\/em><em>\u00a0It\u2019s crucial not to neglect the social networks, otherwise a brand would deprive itself of an opportunity to interact with new consumers who abandon traditional media channels<\/em><em>,&#8221; says Anne Launois.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0<\/em>While the marketing function integrates the digital and data dimensions, recruiters are increasingly attracted to new profiles, namely those of digital enthusiasts.<br \/>\n(Article Published in Special Issue of the French MGEU Magazine (Finance &#8211; Marketing) \u2022 N \u00b0 6 \u2022 June 2018.
