Beyond that, though, what is at stake is the<\/em><em>\u00a0evolution of the marketing function.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>AI and the evolution of Marketing Jobs<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-76641 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/adobe-summit-2023-pic-e1686630712254.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><i>* Disclosure, Adobe is a client of Visionary Marketing<\/i><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The emergence of Gen AI and the evolution of marketing<\/h3>\n<p>The first breakthrough we were excited to see implemented is <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/en\/2023\/06\/introducing-adobe-firefly-at-adobe-summit-2023\/\">Adobe Firefly<\/a>, now available through <a href=\"https:\/\/new.express.adobe.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Adobe Express Beta<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This breakthrough technology allows users to use a typing-style interface, much like <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/en\/2023\/06\/it-crisis-or-lack-of-innovation-steps-towards-the-future\/\">ChatGPT<\/a>, and use it to automatically Photoshop specific items of their photographs.<\/p>\n<p>This technology allows for any marketer to be a content creator \u2026 with a bit of mastery of the creative process, though.\u00a0Beyond that, this innovation paves the way for mass customisation for use in marketing and content creation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_76643\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-76643\" style=\"width: 520px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-76643 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/jumpstory-download20230612-142948.jpg\" alt=\"evolution of the marketing function... and our jobs!\" width=\"520\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/jumpstory-download20230612-142948.jpg 520w, https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/jumpstory-download20230612-142948-459x300.jpg 459w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-76643\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gen AI innovation at our fingertips is paving the way for the evolution of the marketing function \u2026 and our jobs!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen a rise in e-commerce, that is still persisting today. In Great Britain, every \u00a31 out of \u00a34 is spent online. That is to say, ecommerce makes up 25% of all retail commerce!<\/p>\n<p>Because of this, the demand for content creation is more significant than ever, and with the emergence of this new <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/en\/2022\/11\/dall-e-2-ai-redesign-for-companies\/\">generative AI<\/a>, it is right at our fingertips.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Adobe Summit 2023 - Morning session recap\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6MobODhC8cE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Marketing challenges<\/h3>\n<p>Now, to the naked eye this may seem troubling to current marketers. With the use of this technology in the hands of just anyone, anyone and everyone can become a content creator.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the emergence of this tool with a marketing perspective is a major breakthrough. It means that marketers will need to step up their game, and evolve their marketing skills. Much like hitting creative walls, marketers will have to take these new tools and hone their creative skills. AI won\u2019t just do our work. It will enable us to do new things that weren\u2019t possible before.<\/p>\n<p>As long as we use it responsibly, and Adobe has taken care of that too.<\/p>\n<h3>Publicis and the Adobe content supply chain in evolving markets<\/h3>\n<p>The next innovation we were excited for, is the announcement of a joint project between Publicis and Adobe, called the PX platform. The point of this platform is to provide creators with a solid base where they can plan, create and then implement content using Adobe\u2019s software with the data reach of Publicis.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicisgroupe.com\/sites\/default\/files\/press-releases\/2023-06\/PUBLICIS%20GROUPE%20LAUNCHES%20PX%20END-TO-END%20CONTENT%20PLATFORM%2C%20POWERED%20BY%20ADOBE\u2019S%20CONTENT%20SUPPLY%20CHAIN%20SOLUTION.pdf\">Adobe and Publicis have a longstanding partnership aligned on our joint mission to help brands around the world deliver more personalised experiences to customers.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That\u2019s the aim of the creating this platform, according to Adobe\u2019s CEO Shantanu Narayen. By partnering with Adobe, Publicis will use its content supply chain management platform to satisfy the growing need for content creation.
