I&#8217;ve been practising content marketing for 25 years. As a business, we are seven years old and we&#8217;ve worked with more than 80 different clients, mostly B2B, which is our speciality and preferably in the I.T. sector and telecoms. When\u00a0I turned Visionary Marketing into a business, six and a half years ago, I then wrote a piece on my blog describing the landscape for content marketing for the years ahead. It was a great period at that time because it was the time when everything we had been doing for 20 odd years, was generalising throughout the world. Now is the time for an update, for a lot of things are happening now!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>What future for content marketing (Aug 28 Webinar)<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/cropped-IMG_9735-1000x499-e1584105190233.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-45270\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/cropped-IMG_9735-1000x499-e1584105190233.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"682\" height=\"340\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And you&#8217;ve probably heard of <a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/en\/2020\/07\/future-content-marketing-2020\/\">Joe Pulizzi&#8217;s Epic content<\/a> marketing book. That&#8217;s right about the time when it started to make sense for most businesses to focus on content marketing and inbound marketing, not just outbound marketing. And it worked beautifully. As I said, we worked with a lot of clients. You can have a look at all our customer business cases online, it&#8217;s online at <a href=\"https:\/\/vismktg.info\/clients0220\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vismktg.info\/clients0220<\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Now is the time to think about the future of our trade<\/h3>\n<p>We sense that now in 2020 and even 2021, things are changing fast and the landscape is completely blurred. I&#8217;m not even mentioning the Coronavirus virus because changes preexisted that.\u00a0 This crisis will make things change even faster than before, however.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, with this &#8220;content marketing scenarios for the Future&#8221; webinar, which I am facilitating with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushengage.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the good people from PushEngage<\/a> in India, we&#8217;re just going to review most of the scenarios for the future and a good many things that are changing.<\/p>\n<p>I.e. things that are making our lives easier and more difficult at the same time. It&#8217;s not a case of black or white, you know.
