One more proof of what Steven Johnson describes as &#8220;the slow hunch&#8221; in \u00a0&#8220;where good ideas come from&#8221; \u00a0and also that <a title=\"fast second\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fast_Second\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">being a prime mover in an innovative field may not always be a good idea<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/ideo-shoppingcart-hero-626px.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-58347 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/ideo-shoppingcart-hero-626px.jpg\" alt=\"Ideo\" width=\"626\" height=\"310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/ideo-shoppingcart-hero-626px.jpg 626w, https:\/\/visionarymarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/ideo-shoppingcart-hero-626px-500x248.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 626px) 100vw, 626px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>[ps: the shopping carts I saw last November as quoted by Roth\u00a0in my blog comment \u00a0were actually very similar if not entirely identical to IDEO&#8217;s original prototype. Their concept was supposed to make cycling attractive for the masses, but it eventually got dropped, what led my to question about the possible reasons for this failure.
