Vive le Blog! The French blog more than their neighbours

The French supposedly blog more than their European neighbours. Honestly, I fail to understand why the world is so interested in such a ridiculously small and peaceful country like ours. Now and then people are heating up about France and the French and why they are so weird, and why they are so this and that and the other.

Really, I fail to understand. Well, today we may rejoice that once again France is in the spotlight (re this New York Times article) but with a positive statement this time: The French blog more than their neighbours.

Well, almost positive a statement in fact.

When you read the article, you will understand that if the French blog more than their European fellow it’s because of … their national character of course.

The French want to rule their country, they are getting passionate about things, they heat up … Well, let me venture a reason why the French blog more: They have better bandwidth (bandwidth equipment is higher here than in neighbouring countries) are technology savvy (despite their disastrous image abroad), and believe it or not, they are communicative people.

Mind it, I did not mean superior, more intelligent, better educated. Just communicative. How is that for an answer?
